I'm in the market for a 348. My first Ferrari. I've done a lot of research and the 348 is the model I'm going to go with. I've searched on FerrariAds, Ebay, et al. Just not sure which avenue will provide the best car and the best (safest) deal. I live in Atlanta and there just aren't any for sale around here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

But you have come to the right place as many guys here can help you in making sure you pick up a nice example and help you with questions along the way. Finding a nice 348 seems to be getting harder, or is it just me? The owners of all the tidy ones arent selling! Have fun.

I started with a 91'TS back in 2001, loved it but wanted to try a Testarossa. in 2004 I wanted another one, so I found a mint 90' TS and decided it was time for a Diablo, but shortly after I thought I missed the 348 so much that I finally ended up with a 94' spider in giallo!!!! You might be in luck. I listed mine on Ebay last week. I dont know the auction number but its the Red/Tan 95 Spider $65,500 OBO. And to all you guys/gals that say that theyre hard to come by, if you know anyone, send em my way. Clean and ready to enjoy.

Take your time and search the Ebay, CCTOL.com, cars.com, drcars.com, etc... There was a thread recently with about 50 -60 sites to search for Ferraris. I would start there and check it weekly or more often if you can. the best prices seem to be around December to February. CiaoBello's car is really clean and would be a good deal if you are looking for a spider. talk to SportAuto in Greensboro NC. It's not that far from Atlanta. they found me a 348, it is in near perfect condition 21K miles. I bet they can find you one. this is my 3rd car from SportAuto. I looked about 6-7 months to find my first 328. they found me what I wanted in 2 weeks ) kind of makes me laugh. I mean some people enjoy the hunt, gets old after awhile... Every one of those guys there are excellent to work with.
I'd like to think so, but to be realistic, that could only happen if for some reason the 348 became more desirable than the 355. Sadly I can't see that happening.
The Spider production #'s are much lower than the 355's, so there is a chance they will eventually be evenly priced. Stephane Scaledetails
