One update. The Gala dinner next week is a Black Tie event, better get that tux sorted out.
We call them motorhomes back in the land of the free... Mostly used by retired folks and "snowbirds" who like to roam the land and across states...useful as you can park anywhere and camp out. Very useful at tracks where you have no proper facilites and all you want to do is spend days tracking out in the mojave desert..
Probably. But if I were to need such a vehicle, I'd certainly prefer to be bled dry by the RS6 Avant than an SUV. I'd enjoy it, personally.
Wasn't there a fatal accident that called into question the safety of SUVs? In Singapore or something? If anyone wanted to feel safe, go for the bad ass - Hummer. I would feel safe in it. If it's good for Arnie, it's good enough for me...
Hey, which condo? Perhaps I could go check it out! My office is near there. Is it a condo called "Orchard Scotts". I have seen a Ferrari 360 and a Maserati Quattroporte there.
Actually, they are coming. The H3s are comin' first. They are made in South Africa and I heard they are not going to be cheap!
Which Gala Dinner? Anyway, I saw a Bentley Continental GT with chromed rims and a two-toned colour mix ( black+orange )- looks like a Bugatti Veyron. And I also saw an orangish-gold Ferrari 360 spider. WEIRD COLOUR but still a cool car! Do you know that there is a petrol station near Whitley Road which is packed with supercars all day? I have seen a red Ferrari 355, red Ferrari 348tb and black Lamborghini Gallardo there! There was also an Enzo spotted there by someone else!
So your an XC90 owner - as usual your "facts" are wrong - the red XC90 is called the XC90 PUV, not evo.
Sorry! I now know everything I got wrong. 348ts=targa version 348tb=coupe version Everybody makes mistakes.
Sure, at 50 km/h (your normal driving speed) they are safe. Your ignoring incontrovertible facts about SUVs otherwise.
Hey guys, there is a pre-owned F430 spider going on sale at $230,000 incl COE! IT is on sale at www.autobahn.com.sg !Serious!
Exotic Spotter - this is from CNET Safety of 2005 Volvo XC90 ...The vehicle breaks new ground with its Roll Stability Control, a system that takes traction control to a higher level. The setup has gyroscopic sensors that tell a computer the instant the vehicle is prone to rollover and corrects the situation by reducing the engine's output and braking the outer wheels to tip the XC90 back on to all fours... You have to ask yourself why the XC 90 needs such a safety system where it slows down the car for the owners before they are at risk of toppling over and why Nissan Sunnys do not require such a system.
