I live in Jonesboro. I have a 308, and a friend in town has a 512TR, another has a 360. That's it for us locally. I know that there is a 328 in Searcy, then probably lots in LR and Fayetville/Rogers.

There was some interest back in the spring for a group drive. Several guys in LR are active here, also. I think it would be great. Even though AR gets a bad rap, we have several roads that are consistently ranked in the tops by various mags. We also have great driving weather from now until May!

Nice list of cars. I love the 599. My buddy here with the 512 is on the 430 list. I'm only shopping for a 348!

The Arkansas plate on the 360 is registered to a Steve Marts in Ft. Smith. The plate on the truck is not registered to that vehicle.

AR folks- Anyone had major service/work done and if so where do you recommend? I have had my 97 355GTS here in LR for almost 2 yrs. Been fortuneate, no major problems, just routine oil/filter, etc. Perf-Plus has done them for me but they have told me anything major would have to go elsewhere. BBC does F-cars in LR, but how much do they do and how extensive? BTW- I am all for any drives orget togethers.

Greg, There is a new shop opening in the Kansas City area, Rosso Motorsports. I am one of the techs there and have done many majors on 355s and would love to do the work on your car. You can contact Chris Parr for more info on the opening date of the shop, I believe its early Jan. but you should check with him for more exact dates. Thanks Scott

Gregg: Norwood performance in Dallas seems to be "the shop" if your car is without a warranty. Do a search for opinions.

I really want to get an Arkansas drive going. Arkansas does have some great roads. I live in Searcy and driving up to Heber Springs is pretty nice. I am up for traveling anywhere for a good drive. Let's actually make this happen! I'll even volunteer to be the official coordinator if there isn't one already. Anyone have a suggestion as to some good roads, and maybe a good restaurant along the way? I can't go more than 3 hours without food. :)

I'm in for a drive. Gene how do we go about getting organized? We need to start getting a list together. Maybe all those interested in the area can start posting or giving contact info to you to make a list. I bet there would be at least a dozen or so folks in the area up for it. If we could get 12 drivers or so together and start something that would be great.

Gene, have you heard of the Cresent Classic Ferrari Run. It is based out of Eureka Springs and is the best time one can have over the weekend. There are threads at the bottom of the home page with more info. You are absolutly right that Arkasas has the best Ferrari built roads in the U.S.!

I would say that everyone that is interested should just PM me or email me. My email address is gene at gthill dot. com. (I'm trying to fool those spammers).

I think that I am going to start another thread on this just to get as much interest as possible. It will be titled: The Arkansas Drive Initiative.

The Crescent Classic is an excellent event and I hope to go next year if I can secure a spot.

I use Norwoods in Dallas. They do a great job, and it's an easy drive from LR. They have also helped me on several DIY projects (locating parts, advice, etc) even though they were not going to make any money off of it.
