    Hie guys I own a 355 with 6 speed manuals just wanted to ask is it bad for my gearbox or clucth cause I use to start of with my 2nd gear compare to my 1st gear?is it ok?cause sometimes from 1st gear i feel its hard to shift to 2nd gear other then that from 2nd to 3rd to 4th its all ok.....

    Yes you can take off in 2nd. A better Alternative is 1st to 3rd. Until Thoroughly Warmed up, DO NOT force a 1st to 2nd. Say Bye-Bye to your Synchros. Patience my Brother ! or are you a Chick ???

    "synchros" as they are called are actually little clutches used to smoothly engage two gears that are or can be rotating at different speeds. Without synchros, the two gears would "grind", "crunch" or "clash" as they tried to engage each other like from 1st to 2nd. The synchro (little clutch) gets the two turning at the same speed just before the gears engage ;)

    hie pap means i have to be patience while changing 1st to 2nd gear?its only 1st to 2nd even when its cold or hot engine

    Yeah mate, you don't want to start having to adjust the shift cables because you started jamming gears ;)

    Here I changed my gearbox oil the other day to Redline, have a read of this it might solve your problem :D
