Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel, in Southern California, has one. It doesn't have a MSRP, but everything has a price. And according to one sales guy, "Yeah, we'll sell it" (take with grain of salt)

That's what it says on the plate. So it could cost a bit. And, it looks absolutely perfect.

I didn't think these officially came to the US (?). Are they on a Show and Display permit?

Haha, not today my stocks are down. We'll see how tomorrow goes.. :)

And yes, about the CLK at Laguna Niguel. But I believe the story is that it's the owner of the dealers...hints no motivation to sell it. He has taken it to local Carshows (CC) too..

Yes, "Show or Display" got them in. There are approximately 5 cars here according to Canepa Designs which was displaying one of them in Monterey last year. Keep that in mind if you want to buy - a daily driver this is not.

Be careful... they list the Tachometer as a "Luxury Item."

I wonder how much the tach bumps the price up...

It looks like it could make a daily driver to me, too. Heck, if I had the funds, I'd be using an F1 everyday.

I remember reading an EVO comparison of the CLK DTM and the McMerc. For them it was the DTM hands down. Much more of a drivers car, and much more exclusive.

Show or Display requires an insurance policy on the vehicle that is limited to a maximum of 2500 miles per year.
