Does anyone know which 308 or 328 models had the louvres over the side rear windows? Did only the early models and 288 gto not have them?

Also, is it possible to remove them easily? I have done a search but could not find much.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Alex

The GTS versions had louvres over the entire quarter windows. The GTB (hardtop) versions only have small triangular sections over the gas cap and on the passenger side. I believe this is true from '76 all the way through the last of the '89 cars.

It would take some bodywork to remove the GTS louvres, because there's a metal lock tab at the rear angle. But some people have cut some of the verticals from the louvre assembly to make it look more like a GTB. If you're going to do that, I'd get another set in case you want to put it back to original for show or resale.

Yeah, i personally think it makes the car look a little cleaner. What do you guys think? Ill keep on the lookout for some or maybe make up a new surround section. Thanks

I like them stock - consistent with the '80s look of the car and looks a tad more exotic with less glass showing.

But as long as it's reversible (i.e., keep the original louvres somewhere) I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

That's one of those "Find the Ferrari in this picture" games isn't it? Took me a few minutes to locate it.
