Check this out. Ferrari SUV concept. Photo Credit: www.autoblog.com

If it ever goes on sale, I am 100% sure that it will beat the Cayenne in sales, as its looks have already beaten it. But this also depends on the pricing.I don't think it will beat the Porsche in pricing!

Yup!I saw it before......The 599 should do well in the Singapore market, just like the F430 is right now. The 599 is doing extremely well in Paris, Switzerland and Findland right now. Surprising eh?

Why can't I post it? Not related to Ferraris, maybe...... Well I saw one last Sunday. Thought it was an R1 at first. Do you drive an F-car?

I know the owner. His wife( a petite lady) drives it daily to work...cool:) I used to think testas are highly impractical cars to use on a everyday basis, but he(and his wife) changed that perception quite a bit....now i am tempted to acquire 1 LOL ( HS has 1 up for sale i think)

How much? Used Testa in UK cost only 20 000- 50 000 pounds-price of a brand new family car. Anyone watched Classic Car Club on Arts Central last night? They drove Lambo Jalpas, Espadas and Countachs. They also drove a Testa, BMW M3, Rileys, MGs, Austin Healeys......Superb show!

Now if only my wife dare to drive mine but then again maybe I wouldn't pass her the key :)

Someone please go get that HS Testa. It's a nice one owner example & completely stock, which can perhaps enter concours events. It's quite easy to live with & very reliable while I think only 3 or 4 are in good roadworthy condition. And if you can handle a TR, other cars are really easy.

The K in SLK, CLK and MLK stands for kinder ( junior )

So SLK is baby SL, while CLK is baby CL and MLK is baby ML.

YOu know that car well? Has been sitting in HS for quite a while. Most pple are still bothered by the usual issue of a 11k road tax i guess. Plus a 3rd party insurance will set u back 2-3k AFTER 50% NCD!. Maybe i can ask this..since u have a testa, u still take it up north, despite haveing only 3rd party insur??

Well, HS will do a major service if anyone's buying. All depends on price & you can even change the colour @ your pleasure ;) The S$10400 roadtax is alright after a while, you can say it's equivalent to the annual depreiciation of a small car but any brand new 5litre car today will set you back S$7K+ on the roadtax as well excluding hefty losses. We saw a new S600 yesterday!

You don't lose much on the car since it's @ bottom, only running & maintenance cost which is S$20K+/- per year all-in which is OK to me. Cheaper than a new 5 series. In fact F328 has gone up on price & most others have maintain their value & they're not affected by the remaining COE. My insurance on 30% NCD 2nd party is S$3100. I've done two KL trips so far, no issues @ all, ice cold air-con & only problem was the tyre couldn't take it but that was probably due to it being old & wrong tyre pressure.

I'm supposed to do some grand touring in Malaysia with Tifosi who went MIA now. Anyway, once I have more time & put up those protection stickers, I'll be going north again. Not many cars out there can give you this experience & style for S$150K. Anyway, might just keep the car for good & buy an F430 or LP640 when I strike toto. :)

Thanks everyone for the input. I've been to MB Motor to look at the 355 and it does appear to be in very good condition. It's a shame it was repainted from the original Blu Scuro. Likelihood is that I won't get it, though, because I will really need to take a haricut on the trade-in of my M3 if I do it via MB Motor. I was aiming not to spend more than about S$100K to "trade up". So I might investigate what's available Porsche-wise instead.

Jon, if you can reach the adjustment nut to toe in/out from the side of the car, no need to jack up the car.. never worked on a f-car so not sure if can be reached.

hehe, was confused by your question there.. cos the F1 tranny also has 6 speed.. its just that you shift using the gearshift levers. the black F430 spider i once saw was a 6 speed manual. so i guess there are still manual trannies for the modern f-cars.. maybe more F1.. there's just too many traffic lights :D

I've seen those photos but can't recall which website had it. Err, I think the website said the murc just happened to be parked there in the condo carpark so unless it was seen being driven in the show, that's probably the case.

Looks like some of the members of this board were giving you a hard time. maybe this would help you out.. the members of this board are more web savvy than your average "uncle".. they are car enthusiasts so most probably they also read news from automotive websites and the plus point some of them are close to the Ferrari distributor here so they may even have privileged insiders' info. so you may want to ask them their opinions on the news article you read instead of posting it.

Hi guys, I've been following this thread closely for the past few months but this is my 1st post. Hope someone here can help me out on this:

Is there any shop(s) locally that carries a good selection of Ferrari apparel (e.g. t-shirts, polo shirts), both official and unofficial? I've been to the Puma shops at Ngee Ann City & Marina Sq but frankly am not too impressed by the current range of Ferrari apparel. Still prefer the Fila range.

Hi, welcome to the board. For Shirts, maybe you can try the Nikko shop at Suntec.. my wife bought me a t-shirt quite a while back.. think they should still have them.. not sure if they have the Fila stuff..
