Maybe they have. They couldnt afford to maintain a Ferrari so they settled for a crappy replica. :D:D

October issue of the revered British "Classic and Sports Cars" magazine has a big article about the Ford GT 40:2 originals, one Ford GT and 2 replicas.

And guess what: They love the replicas and find nothing wrong about them. They - like many on here - consider them the next best thing if you don't have a couple of millions sitting around somewhere.

i saw a fiero today (they are rare in oz), and whilst i didn't mind how it looked, it then occurred to me that people use this car as a base for bodykit crapcars... i looked at the dimensions of it and just laughed at the idea, sooooo stupid :D

Its funny how the Mera a factory pontiac fiero with a factory 308 body kit can outperform the orginal......

Most people chop the Fiero in half when they want to build a car like a Testarossa or a Diablo. Now that makes me feel alittle uncomfrable doing that to a chassis then to drop on a new body and perhaps a new engine!. Thats why you see alot of companys like NAERC switching to a tube chassis and dithcing the fiero based.

The fiero isn't the only chassis that is uitlized when it comes to midengined replica's. There is also the MR2, NSX, and even a real 308.

Thats suppose to be a Jalpa replica just like the XTC is suppose to be a Maserati.

Those PISA kits are creative, The ZR-2 which is a mid engined Corvette ZR-1 based on a Fiero chassis and there's also the Scorpion which is suppose to be a Marrcos. There is another called the Jalapenio which is an Off-roading sportscar.

    you know what...?

suck a f*cking crying shame these guys had absoluteley no sense of creativity within themselves. if they had have been able to make an "MR2 kit" like that 5 years ago before i'd ever heard of a zonda we'd all be lining up for one.

as it stands now, they're just sad bastards not worth the pillow they were sprogged on.

WTF? thats inovative to build a Zonda on an MR2 like a Diablo over a Fiero. What would you expect them to do? trick it out? slap lambo doors on it with and a "Streetfighter"body kit a retarded neon green paint job and a lawnmower exhaust?. Its the best body kit i have seen for the MR2 unfornately besides the 355bodykit because all the "Orginal" MR2 bodykits are ugly and look cartoony.

If that bodykit was around 5 years ago maybe the "tricked out" sene would have had some class. Hell id mod a Vtec if a Civic was really a K1 attack.
