I was looking at the way my alfa 164 fuel injection was set up and wondered what it would take to transfer it to the Dino. Just theoretical of course. Given some of the expertise I have seen demostrated on this forum, I would say mechanically it would not be too hard. But I am electronically challenged so i'd like to hear some opinions.

This link will tell you all you need to know about custom fuel injection. If you can adapt an intake manifold to mount the fuel injectors and throttle bodies, you can fuel inject your Dino.

I was working on an Alfa164LS and when looking at the set up. V6, air box, shaped runners, an intermediate plate to hold the injector and the intake runner. The intake side is almost an exact match for the dino air filter. It looks very very do able at first glance. A little black box to mimic the resposes for those sensors that we would not use...etc. etc. Or maybe the megasquirt controller. It would certainly be a good converation piece. That and 4 valve heads.

    Thanks JCR
I don't like the massivness of those set ups. They look like add ons. I have another idea, something more elegant I think. In a week or two I'll post a picture.

If you are refering to the individual coils, I understand. The alternative would be to "lock out" the distributor advance and use the ECU for the ignition curve. The distributor would only distribute the spark from the coil to the six plug wires. The computer would tell it when to fire.

I agree, I have no idea if individual coils would add to the whole. I like the idea of being able to experiment with intake runner length. I'd like to get a 20% hike in power. Don't know if fuel injection and high comp pistons alone will do it.
