Ernesto, is there any chance you could do 3-view sketch for me? (top/front/side) i'd like to try to put it in 3-D with a trick i learned the other day. the closer to actual proportions that you can get, the easier it will be, but i can "clean it up" a bit as i go.

    thanks.

I have been following this thread for some time now, great idea and some great sketches!!

I haven't seen Ernestos take on the Dino before now, but it is indeed the best by now!
I have been trying to draw something Dino-like since I first saw the thread and that one is excactly how I would have done it, if I could get my ideas onto the paper! Only reservation is the front/side-view which looks a bit too much like a Cayman in my opinion, but the rear is spot-on!

Keep it up everybody, it's great reading (and watching!)

    Thanks everyone for your words.

I think it is a good result that could be used in the final project! But Michiel has the last word on this!

I will post more sketches when I have the time for them!

If pininfarina or other Ferrari related persons are viewing this thread, could you please make coments? :) :) :) :)

    It would be fun, no?

    Regards from Portugal,
    Ernesto Freitas

I love it also, but right behind the doors both intakes remind me of a F430 too much.

I am not too sure that is a bad thing. It should look like part of a family.

that was actually one of my favorite features. it's one of those features that's on the 430 and the Dino. something that ties the old to the new and can carry through to the future.

Wonderful vivid and 'easy' drawing, it still works with the old techniques...
The car keeps the balance between retro and modern
and pleasently different to the current Ferrari design, not too much details!
Only the vent in the front seems to me a little bit too low, but that's a matter of taste...

    Great sketches guys!
I think all of it is worth another look, every time i look through the thread :)

I am very confused now. Is there going to be a cheap Ferrari?
God i really hope not - That would ruin the marque totally, and make my worst dreams come true... :(

Waiting for the "final" sketches as you promised to continue.

Same for Michael. As well to anybody else with designs. Idea sketching has taken too much time already. We should have 2-3 "final" concepts to begin to overlay and package them now.

It is time to begin to overlay the body styles with the hardware concept and evaluate changes and real world requirements.

    Cheers,
    Eric

    Eric,

Working on those, should be ready pretty soon, but we would need a front and rear view of this image from you?, it would make it easier to show more real proportions.

    Ciao

What the width of this car? In 3/4 view it seems to be at least 3 m...?
Never a sketch for a Dino at all!

Would agree. This looks like an Enzo follow-up.
