    I am thinking about getting 360 and wondering was the transmatic of f1 is better much than 6 speed?

    F1/SMG systems are far from torque convertor type slush boxes and do take some tiome to get used to. There is quite a learning curve to properly shift such sytems...but, once mastered it is something you will love...I too was anti-F1 type shifter until I got my new M5 with its SMG system...now I am an avid fan. It is a great gearbox for a daily driver and a blast on the track as well...I'll never own another antiquated stick and clutch pedal system again...at least not on a new car purchase.
