optomistically 1)MS 2)FM 3)GF (alonso crashes trying to pass MS on lap #5) Realistically 1)MS 2)FA 3)FM
I'll go ahead and say it....Alonso gets wrecked in the first corner and Michael and Felipe take it one and two with Michael taking the title.
On the last round of pit stops MS comes out on FA's tail. With the combined skills of 7 WDC on the last 10 laps of his F1 carrear, MS is all over the back of FA. With 5 to go FA is freaking out. Gets a wheel off, and into the tires scoring no points. MS cruises to his 8th WDC.
Interesting...except that Alonso has proven himself to be cool under pressure (Imola 2005?). The scenario you describe is far more likely if it is Schumacher under pressure from Alonso. Schumacher has proven himself to be weak when under pressure from a faster car.
My prediction: 1. KR 2. MS 3. GF Alonso takes WDC with a fifth place finish behind JB and Renault clinches constructors title; a whole lot of folks from this site whine for weeks; the rest of us move on.
My prediction (just to be different): Both MS and FA get preemptive penalties and start from the back. Kimi leads until he DNFs. Massa gets a wheel off and DNFs in the tire wall. 1. Button 2. Kubica 3. de la Rosa 4. Heidfeld 5. FA 6. Rubens 7. GF and Micheal, after banging wheels with half the field, pulls 8th from the pits. ... I'm going to expect that, so I can be happy with anything better. People wishing for a miracle are likely going to be in a bad mood Sunday night. Those who really hate Michael .... are always in a bad mood.
1 Massa 2 Fisico 3 Kimi Alonso takes MS out in the first corner and is crowned champion. 6 hours after the race the FIA revises the decision and as a penalty strikes the ten points from Japan. MS is awarded the title.
Since Michelin is leaving F1 and everyone loves Schumi, Michelin probably "forgets" to bring tires and repeats the 05 US GP, 1.Mikey S 2.Felipe 3.Kubica 4.Heidfeld 5.Ralf 6.Jarno 7.Monteiro 8.Albers 9.Sato 10.Alonso tries to run race on rims but crashes into Yamomoto
1)ms 2)fm 3)kr 4)gf 5)aw 6)pdlr 7)nr 8)rd Alonso gets nervous knowing whats at stake and pushes the car too much. kablaam. Schumacher wins his 8th WDC.
And I am. My comment was more targeted at the FIA and the games they played all year long to make this championship "interesting". Of course I so hope I'll be wrong and the title is decided on the track and not at the green table. But I wouldn't be surprised if Mad Max and Whiting came up with some last minute shenanigans.
