Hi Guys, There is a red 512M with a single digit license plate number in my apartment building. Wonder if it belongs to any of you? It looks nice but personally, I prefer a 512TR. The 512M looks very ostentatious in some of its detailings. Are there any 512TRs left in Singapore?
why do you squeeze the steering when bracing a hard brake? excited or nervous or something else? oh and jon used to own the 348, now the own testa. aiyah, our driving experience not so much, scared hit the button.. we never drive F430 before mah.. how we know.. thank you for educating us if it is your daily driver, i don't think that would be too chin chai.. what's the point of having a car if you don't feel comfortable going where you wanna go..
No - got to check. Will let you know if I find it. It was in the newspapers. Not sure if the Japanese will like Teh Tarik and Kaya Toast altthough they apparently like milk in red tea.
As far as I have seen, there's only one 512M & TR each left here. The M is owned by a nice gentleman who's going to keep it here for a while & he's not going to recover the S$200K parf not to mention the body's worth at least S$150K, brave man. You seldom see Singaporean food in foreign land & Thai seems to be more favoured at least in Europe. I've seen at least one Thai restaurant & some very swanky ones in every major European cities. Wonder how will laksa sell in California?
I've had malaysian food in gold coast. similar to singapore malay food mostly.. chicken rice, fried rice etc. the owner said actually the locals there do not make his major clients, its the tourists groups. but the monthly rent of about aus$6000 is really a pain. selling local food overseas can also cater to locals who are stationed overseas and miss the food here.. think they are willing to pay even if they're priced as foreign cuisine there.
Yat Kun Kaya toast is in Korea. Its situation at the Seoul Financial center... which is owned by Singapore Government.
Hmm, beside tommy's 512m , think i recall seeing another red 1 at ardmore too.. very well maintain condition..so do that make it 2?
Oh yes I do recall seeing that one in the Ardmore Park carpark when I was at my friend's place, looked to be in great condition. I can't recall if 512m or TR though
Taken from http://www.************.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1746 "Vehicle Enhancements Include: 1. New V8 Engine (only for Automatic) 2. New Automatic Transmission 3. New Transmission Layout 4. New Central Console 5. New Electronic Parking Brake 6. Updates to the Exterior Color Palette 7. Updates to the Leather Range 8. Updates to the Interior Trim 9. New Interior Coding Changes and Options it seems good news to current QP owners, as their cars will at least not get outdated in the engine specs. However, it is interesting to note that the QP Sport GT will also get the AT." -M! Personally, I totally agree with you on the duo select with F1 paddles...it just so cool!
I wonder if duo select will remain an option. I hope so. I fully understand full automatic for QP - but to me, that would be losing QP biggest plus factor over germans - the ability to shift up and especially down and also go to auto when you need to. I know germans saloons also can shift but there is no "manual feel". I read articles saying Ferrari duo select autos are jerky but I never encountered that problem. Anyway, I see quite a lot of QPs near my office everyday so it seems very popular even in duoselect.
Hi Shredder, The one I saw is in Ardmore Park. It is a 512M. Plus, my friend told me that Tommy Goh has one too. So, there must be at least two left in Singapore. Cheers.
Hi SF, So there is a 512TR lurking in Singapore? What color is it? I am not knowledgable about parf, etc. Autobahn tried to teach me the trick to not lose too much on a used Ferrari but still not clear yet. My friend's acquaintance wants to sell a 6 speeder '99 Maranello in Indonesia. Its selling for about SGD 275K. How much would a similar car cost in Singapore? My wife's cousin has a Maranello in Singapore but I haven't seen him since he moved to another place. I lived in Los Angeles for more than 6 years. There were some Malaysian restaurants and Laksa sold quite well. Among the Asians I think.
I don't encounter that problem either. Magazine editors and journalists normally drive run-of-the-mill trannies so the flappy paddles will always be a 'problem' and the jerkiness prevalent due to improper acquaintance will make them drive 'silly'. The fact is that the duo select works beautifully in regular spirited driving and even more so in high speed autobahning. I would rather drive the car, not the car drive me...hehee
If the shoe fits : In Internet terminology, a troll is usually someone who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum, and posts inflammatory, rude, repetitive, offensive, off-topic or otherwise disruptive messages designed intentionally to annoy, stimulate or antagonize the existing members or alter the flow of discussion, including the personal attack of calling others trolls e.g. Mr. Seven and Leicester Lantern. Often, trolls assume multiple aliases, or sock puppets. (from wikipedia)
that's your best ? never go for free coffee at tyre shop ? no names to drop today ? not out serving the Kwees or Leungs ? decided to come out of their a--- for some air ? better stick your nose back in or the haze will get you and you will suffocate .. accuse others of brown nosing, ha ha the irony ... what do you think you have been doing with all the name dropping ? btw, picture of you and your boyfiend is nice ... I will be sure to look for a tea kettle driving around with a pot in a kangoo being chased by a famous or more importantly rich person ..
don't get involved .. he has to decide what he wants to do .. check back his most recent post ending yesterday..like all previous instances, he brought this on himself... I am always happy to get into a discussion .. be it insurance, gear box, etc .. but he is not engaging in discussion .. like he said he even writes that he is about to take a s______. basically he is a jealous little nitwit who found himself short of any actual knowledge - when he found he could not keep up with the discussion, he resorted to trolling as you may recall ... you may have also noticed as well that the best ammo is always supplied by he himself .. and the stuff he comes up with is priceless actually ..
