Hi guys, I have photos of yellow 360 modena, red 360 modena and Maserati Quatroportte. They were all parked at the Changi Airport T2 carpark. I do not know how to post pics from my phone to the computer. Anyone can tell me how to do so, or you would not be able to see them.

    Thanks!

I'd agree. It was better exporting off then but now (after 10 years) better value for 355 here due to scarcity.

F430 is probably best Ferrari up to now even though not most expensive. But you really should try the 360 first if possible ...

Thanks, definitely looking forward to meeting up with a fellow 355 owner.

I have decided to make it one of my missions in life to see that the car stays right here in Singapore and not be exported. It would be such a shame if the day comes when there wouldn't be a single 355 left here. Same goes for 308/328/348/TR/360, etc.

Thanks, Harold. Was this car ever in monaco blue/white? Thought it was yellow/black all along.

May do a re-spray next year. Would love red/crema, but then again may stay with the current combo.

Hehee, want to buy over my TR?

Thanks for the advise CT, I don't have much money so must spend wisely. First off, the F430 uses chain & doesn't require the dreaded 3yr beltjob. The steering has that F1 derived mounted functions. Software & chassis has also improved dramatically, not that I can even fulfill the potential of a 360 but it just keeps me out of trouble when I hit a sourspot. Somehow, I like the sharp headlamp look as well while the rear will take time to get used to. A big BUT is the car is so heavily laden with electronics, I wonder who is driving the car. Something that many drivers around the globe often rejoice today when they sit in a classic sports car without all the gadgets.

That owner who kept two 328s must have his own mindset. Even you add them up, they're still cheaper than a nice used 360 & wouldn't lose much either. If he's lucky, he might even profit! Which other brand on earth gives you such pleasure?

my friend my friend, your points on 430 I'd agree ... I've said several times its a better car .. looks are always a source of great debate so I won't argue .. frankly, I prefer the 430 front but the 360 back

Many get worked up over how good the F40 is but ounce for ounce, the truth is that the F430 is a much much better car.

but for the 328 comment, yes its cheaper and will hold value better but make no mistake ... a 360 is a much better car than the 328 and driving it is a different experience ...

I recall a wiseman expressing you only live once sentiments recently (you actually) ... ..on this, owning a 360 / 430 is surely one of those experiences ... lose money also must try ..

Sure, but let me get a bigger house first. Gotta make sure also that the gate is wide enough for the TR's ass to pass through.

Lastly, must check out your glass engine cover. It sounds almost like an sacrilegious act!

Personally, I'd rather have the electronics that will be there to help me out if I should run into trouble, than to leave it purely to skill to avoid it.

The feeling without the gadgets is a matter of personal taste. I'd personally rather be able to enjoy 60, 70% of the car's capabilities with the electronics, than 50% of it based on my skill.

And with the manettino on the 430, you can totally switch off all the e-bits, and get the tail out at whichever corner you prefer. I think that's a great device.

At least you could do that on a Ferrari. Even on an AMG Merc, the stability controls can't be totally off....

When the price is right. Why not? These are just worldly things, half the fun is getting it. I don't even look @ my watch & toy collection while I drool @ new ones in magazines & displays. Come to think of it, I haven't even turn on my hifi for months now. That reminds me of Isk who mentioned he knew a wealthy man in Malaysia who drives a humble Jap make. When he asked why he didn't fancy nice cars the reply was he's contented enough to know he can afford them~

My dream is to retire in a carefree kampong, build schools & provide free education for poor children. I was in Burma & the children were gathering around us asking not for money but pencils/pens because it's a luxury they don't have. I believe seeing smiles on innocent children provides better happiness. No it's not a joke, a retired army major is doing that in Thailand now. But before that, so many things to fulfill. Aiya....back to real world!

Cutting it up? There's this company in UK that's selling a sofa in the form of a replica of the 917 nose with lamps & in Gulf livery. GBP4500 excluding shipping & GST. I would buy that if it's in S$ & worry about where to display it later. It looks good!

quite a hostile atmosphere we had here. so om Jon just came back from batam.. no haze over there? for me, sort of a "getaway" over the weekend.. spent it in the delivery suite :)

alamak.. thought you took over my "part-time job" at the airport since i no longer there but cannot be, you have problems with getting the photos out of your phone.. do you have one of those super sophisticated phones but hard to get things out of?

quite obvious which i prefer but the 360's back looks great with a challenge grille compared to the 430..

Welcome to the club! I remembered I had dinner about 1am @ Newton circus then the baby came @ 3.3am.

That QP, one of the Hong bro brought my friend for a testdrive & he almost threw out after a bumpy ride so he concluded he needs a simple autobox.
