These photos look like a real CS not the challenge car that had been running around. Some notable items are: * Carbon interior door panel * Sport seats * New exhaust location * Normal windows might indicate that it is US bound? I think this is the real thing. link. http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/10/25/ready-for-launch-ferrari-f430-challenge-stradale-spied/#more-4309 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
OH endless joy!!!!! Hurrayyy!!!! Some of the differences I spotted - Fuel tank cap in different location and body colored - Slightly different design of the part between the exhausts - 'Normal' windows has others have pointed out - No rollcage - In the pics, seats seem to be red leather If this is true, what will happen to 360 CS's prices?
Wow, that looks very sexy! Normal windows? You mean there will not be "Flap edition" lightweight windows available?
sorry but i can't tell diff between this "CS" and lowered 430 w challenge rims. Final version needs to be much more dramatic IMO Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nor me, it needs more body work done. I'll eat my own words when they officially bring out a 430CS, or whatever it will be called
As I've mentioned before, if they set the exhaust up high like the race car, that's all they would have to do for it to be a hit. The exhaust position is bad azz. G
I'm going to the dealer this afternoon and ordering one! Is that a noise testing mic rudely attached to the rear of my car?
The rear window shield has those rivets like those form the CS too. It looks cool to be the new 430CS
Awesome post, that certainly increased my hopes for a 430 based CS version. No doubt it has many details of a street legal "CS", this one is not a Challenge car. What has been pointed out plus: Did you notice: - 5 Lug wheels - Carbon brakes
No CF mirrors and no special gas tank cover... BUT I definately thing that's it. The doors I'd say are the biggest thing and the rivets around the rear window are CS-esque.
Cool but it really doesnt look different enough from a F430. It needs to be more aggressive. The only cool think is the exhaust position.
I hope they make it a little more aggressive looking, as far as the front nose, rocker panels, maybe a stripe to set it off even more? Looks great though!
I'm sure this isn't the final version. I think they just use the same bodywork as the F430, so they donøt let anything "out" - Then they don't need to put black tape all over the car
Er, no....you're forgetting one thing...its still got the basic F430 shape....I'll keep the CS, thanks....
Biggest thing that makes me believe that this could be the 430 CS is the inside carbon door panel. It is still and the car is not at all disguised still makes you wonder. Perhaps the disguise is that it looks no difference visually from a standard F430 other than the challenge style exhaust. Time will tell I guess. Does the 19" CS wheels look rather small on the F430 in the pics to you guys? Is the F430 wheel opening larger than 360? I also prefer the 360 CS shape over a standard F430, but Ferrari did such a beautiful job making tiny little tweaks making the CS look great. These pictures are showing standard F430 body, maybe the tweaks are still in the works. In the end, what haunts me is how the 360 CS drives and the experience each time I drive it. I am hopeful that Ferrari will deliver something speicial, but I do think that the parameters won't be the same...so that just means that I have to plan for the potential of adding F430 CS, not replacing my beloved 360 CS. I don't know why, but I also have a feeling it won't be called Challenge Stradale.
