    What should I be looking out for, pitfalls, positive signs?
    Is there any chance a seller could alter the odometer to lower km's travelled?
    Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Sydney, and insurer?
    I see a 328 advertised for sale, 'ANS43F'. Does anyone have any feedback on this car?

    They may even know the car!

    Welcome, and brief answer is "yes" on the odometer, maybe not from intentional rollback but the system has been known to fail and "miss' recording mileage..

    Buy ALWAYS based upon condition vs. price/value...

    Hey Peter,

    Welcome aboard. Several good mechanics in Sydney - I can strongly recommend Miles Sandy, Cavallino Motorsport. Insure via Shannons or Dawes. Service history is more important than simple miles on the odometer with a Ferrari. No matter how pretty it looks, get a pre-purchase inspection from a good Ferrari mechanic - worth every penny! Good luck.

    Not sure what part of Australia you are in but , if you are in Sydney , I suggest Rudolf at Piccolla Scuderia . He does my 328 and knows what to look for . They are a great car ! Do it !
