That is the plan, of course all contacts/help in this regard gratefully received. I have 3 cars to do at present. The coupe as seen here, a convertible/GTS style, and the 3-seater 360 engined version with more extreme innovations. I don't intend to sell the parts but I would convert cars/chassis if they were sent here (Singapore).
Work on the moulds is progressing. A hairy Mondial: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Now that is crazy! If you've got cash to experiment like that you should buy a 360 and put a 575 (or 612) engine into the back. I've mentioned that project a few times. What are hourly labor prices like there? You must be thinking, "man, I wish another tanker would sink or oil rig blow up so I can pay for another project!"
I just had a thought for you: just like American personal injury lawyers have billboards on the side of the road and banner ads on the side of the bus, you should rent banner space on the sides of tankers and freighters! Do you send out marketing packages to freight lines?
You know....some guys are into that Looks great! Any idea when it will be done. Also, did you start start the Mondial 360 yet? If so, pics?
Still working on the moulds so nothing new for now. However, just to stop the thread disappearing, here are a couple of old shots from June. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would like to see someone take an f430 and make a conversion to look more like the 360 cs. Like the rear end, front bumper and head lights. Maybe a slightly updated version of the 360 body that works as well aerodynamicly as the f430 does. I loved the looks of the 360 way too much. It was far better proportioned. Sorry I know thats the wrong car for this thread
The more effort you put into the mould, the less finishing you need to do with each body shell later, it is all about distortion - or rather not.
That the 360 looks lame without any Novitec wings and that the 430 looks just about right, but could still use some improvements. The 360 is way too roundish and boring, particularly the Berlinetta. The 430 is more aggressive and has some Enzo touches that make it more exotic. Zertec, sorry for the high jack. But then again this whole thread is in essence about improving the design of a stock Ferrari into something more exciting.
I make molds only for small parts, but even those take quite some effort. So my rule is now only to do it when there is no other source available.
