Hi All, Well I'm a married man now. I waited for the pictures to spread the news that on Friday October 6th 2006 I tied the knot with my longtime girlfriend Annetta. The event was small, with less than 40 people, and the weather was perfect. We lucked out on probably the only nice weather day in October and drove off in the 308 to begin our new life together. Being that this is a Ferrari forum, I do have a cool Ferrari related story that goes with the wedding. In choosing our wedding rings we both wanted something really simple and practical. Neither one of us likes gold so we decided upon polished titanium as our material of choice. In one of my travels I became friends with the owner of a company in Italy that supplies Ferrari and the F1 team with all of their titanium components. Upon special request, he made for us matching rings made from the same alloy of titanium used by the F1 team on the race cars. As he told me, 'This is a special alloy we make for Ferrari. It is not available and not for sale, however as a Ferrari enthusiast, we would like to present you with these rings and with our congratulations'. Here are a couple of pics of the day. Life is a crap shoot all the time.........whether if its a used ferrari, marriage, kids...life is what you make it...have a blast with it, you only got ONE SHOT at it. And this is it !!! Congrats, and very cool. Don't listen to these guys - marriage can be great, and you're off to a good start! Tried to see if the rings were visible in either picture, but just can't see them...
