    The smartest bird I ever saw was at the grocery store. He methodically searched out cars with true radiator grills and then ate the bugs which were stuck in them. He went right down each row in an orderly fashion, skipping the sportscars etc and only paying attention to the minivans, trucks and SUV's that had bugs in them.

    Around here they've learned to hang out at the golf courses and wait for the golfers to leave the cart. A couple weeks ago one got in the cart, took out my brand new pack of cigs and proceeded to spread them all over the ground.

    At another course they used to hang out on the 10th hole after people had made the turn and stopped to get a snack. I went out in the woods to look for someone else's ball (OK it was really mine) and found a candy wraper graveyard. Must have been several dozen empty wrapers back in there.
