Anyone seen this latest movie??? I've read about people who have passed out in the theatre due to it's brutality - I've got 1 and 2, and I guess part 3 is only at cinemas in the US these days! So please, if you've seen it - how was it??? Thanx Horror fan
I'm hesitant to see it; the first one was good. The second one, in my opinion, didn't stand up to the same standards as the first. The third one would have to be exceptionally terrifying for me to enjoy it. I recently saw previews for a new movie coming out soon called "Bug". There's one line in the movie where this woman says to this guy she loves, "...please... you have to kill me..." The reviews said it's supposed to be one of the scariest movies ever. I anxiously await its release. I look forward to others' opinions of Saw and only then will I consider seeing it, based on what they say.
It was pretty average. After about 20 minutes I wanted to leave... because I knew it was going to drag on. Also the ending wasn't very shocking, but you can see they were trying to make it that way. The first SAW was great, SAWII was a let down, as was SAWIII. If you need to see a movie, go see the Prestige.
I thought it was good. I liked it better than the second(which was more gore than terror). Still, I didn't leave with the mildy unpleasant slightly dirty(like just barely being able to still taste your vomit) feeling I left with after seeing the first one. But, overall I liked it. Anyone else think they left room for a fourth?
Uh, yeah they did. Obviously there is going to be a new "game" where the child can be saved if so and so continues the killings. To be vague and not give anything away to those who haven't seen it.
Thank you; I need to discontinue reading this thread if I'm going to see this movie. It sounds like I might skip it though.
I saw it on Sunday. This one didn't have anything new to be honest. Nothing surprised me. It was good but it was more of the same if you know what I mean. Having said that, I enjoyed watching it. I am a fan of the Saw movies but this one just wasn't as good as the last two. I was really dissapointed with the final twist at the end, because I thought the last two were great. I didn't think it was that scary. Defenitely not scary enough to make someone faint anyway. If you like horror films I'm sure you will like Saw 3, but I really recommend that you see the first two movies before you see this as the Saw 3 storyline has a lot to do with Saw 1/2
The first one was great b/c it slowly brings you into the movie; I really didn't think it was too gorey. I liked the second one better b/c it really messes with your head and has you thinking all over the place. The third one was good too and in my opinion, the goriest of them all; even gorier than Hostel (which they are making a second). At times I thought they may have even gone over the edge, the ending could have been more shocking but that wasn't the goal of the movie like the second one. Finally, yes they are DEFINITELY making a fourth movie. See the third, it ties some things together in the first and second movies and is worth it. It's hard to scare or disturb me but I was still disturbed by this movie the following morning.
I'm agree with you guys, the first movie is "always" the best! (maybe except Terminator II) Saw II in Scary Movie 4 was also pretty cool, nice to see Dr.Phil in different places Carbon: Thanx for the tip, I'll look out for "BUG" - hmmmm...scariest movie ever you say??? hmmm I doubt it, but I'll give it a shot (as long it isnt about bugs........I H8 bugs, it gives me the creep
That's exactly what it's about; and I hate bugs too; and that's exactly why I'm going to see it... I can't get that woman's voice out of my head; her impassioned plea for her lover to kill her because she was so tortured by the situation... I very anxiously await the release of that movie...
I really hope you dont think by watching this movie will cure your fobia for bug's bro. Cuz' that dosent work, see I tried that once, if you remember a movie called Aracnofobia or something?....a crappy spider movie I started watching it cuz I love horror movies........but the truth is.. I never got the chance to finish it But yet again, that scene you refer to, sounds VERY interesting
