They are just faboulos , and I would be extremely interested in non Ferraris too! Many thanks , Bjørn Kjer
"I would like to find the appropriate forum to do so. Thanks, David" Here is a possibility for non-Ferraris, the Atlas F1 Bulletin Board, The Nostalgia Forum, in the Personal Photos from the Paddock thread. It is much like this forum and includes almost every form of road racing. http://forums.autosport.com/showthread.php?threadid=89266&perpage=40&display=&pagenumber=36 Gil
David, Many thanks to you and the others who have contributed photos to this thread. This thread is the primary reason I signed up for this forum. I can echo what the others have said about The Nostalgia Forum on Atlas F1. There are two threads there where your photos would be eagerly welcomed, Personal Photos From the Track, and Personal Photos From the Paddock. Some very knowledgeable and enthusiastic people over there including Doug Nye and Karl Ludvigsen. Hope to see more of your collection. Thanks again for sharing. Cheers, Kurt
I will try Atlas again. I remember that it was a bit more complicated to post there. As a consultant I am not limited regarding the number of photos posted here either. I appreciate everyone's kind words. Grazie, David
I finally did figure it out and posted my first pic. I then proceeded to kill about four hours sifting through their Nostalgia section. There is some serious F1 stuff, wow! Thanks for the tip but "there is no place like home Auntie Em".
I try to check in on this forum once in awhile. I don't have a clue how I missed this thread for so long. I've spent a couple hours over the last two days looking at and reading every page. I'm only about halfway through now but I will finish. Simply AMAZING, pics and stories. The amount of historical knowledge on display here is simply mind boggling. This should be mandatory reading for every person even remotely interested in Ferrari's heritage. Thank you all for sharing!!!
posted in this thread at the Alfa BB. You will have to scroll down through a number of posts.... http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/showthread.php?p=272438#post272438
Hi David , another TNF thread were some of your photos would be utmost welcom is the "transporter" thread. But, still thanks so much for sharing here!. Regards Bjørn PS I am a transporter freak!

David, Where have you gone? Have you deserted us for another forum? I am having withdrawal pains. Gil
One of the reasons I post my photos is to ignite conversation pertaining to the subject matter. The last few groupings I thought were very good. There was little or no response. I thought maybe I had dominated the thread and should let others have a chance? WDYT? David
You're dominating this thread because you are the only one to have such beautifull pictures. And because you are very kind to share ! It's hard for me (and for many other readers) to say something in english about the best years of sportscars racing. But you must know you give us fantastic memories ! Thanks for sharing these moments.
David, Although I do not post very much here, this is one of the few boards I visit everyday and for this thread in particular. And while many have contibuted, you really are the biggest driving force behind this thread. Especailly since the photos you post have never been seen before and the quality is excellent. I start to worry when nobody posts in a few days that maybe the thread will die out. I only wish I had some good pics to post but I was not into the sports car racing up until only the early 90's and have no pics to show. The old photos are of big interest to me and many others as this thread has proved. Without guys like you and Marcel and the few others that had the insight to take those important photos, many of us would not be able to enjoy the timeless shapes of those race cars from years ago except from what we can find in the few books that are available. And many of those books are hard to find. And of course its always fun to read posts from the people that were there in the day and the events that went on. You can't go back in time......except by looking at the pics. Thank you to those who make this thread what it is. Ed
David, Please let us know if and when you'll ever consider selling copies of some of your fantastic photographs.
312 P #0868 is passing a Ford or Shelby Mustang at Sebring '69. Andretti-Amon (at the wheel) will finish 2nd OA. Fantastic first race for the lone 3-liter which Ferrari introduced in dec.'68, a surprise for many. First position at mid race (Alfas and Porsches 3-liter were out), Amon received a bonnet from another car ... and water cooling problems made the new car finishing behind the Ford GT40 5-liter. First race, nearly first victory is the reason why "nr 25" stayed very well known.
Moss in the GTO Prototype, Daytona 1962? While reading "Una Vita Per laAutomibile" I was surprised to learn how much respect and admiration Enzo had for Moss. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice shot of the 250 GT Sperimentale #2643GT. Daytona Continental 3 hrs '62 nr18 - Moss (4th OA). Enzo Ferrari respected Moss because he was the best driver of that time and had a professional way of drive ... his business !
I too do not write often...but thoroughly enjoy this thread! Thanks too all who post the photos here! The photo's are very much appreciated! The Bobert
