Lake Forest has a 1988 328 VIN ZFFXA20A0J0075252 listed on cars.com but not showing up on their own websitse. Anyone know this car? Comments?

    Thanks

They could have just gotten it, or just sold it. Have you tried calling the dealership?

I was there yesterday and did not see it. Maybe they just got it and were doing some service to it.

Thank you Walter and Michael. I spoke with Tyler Dean at LFSC earlier today. Although it is not "the car for me", given the cost of importing to Canada and value once here, Tyler was very helpful. His candor was refreshing. I understand why Lake Forest Sports Cars have an enviable reputation.

I was there on Wed. There was a red/tan 328 in the back of the showroom. Looked decent. Minor things on exterior. The hood had a small crimp where the strut is. Typical on those, but seemed worse than I'v seen. Some other minor things that I don't recall. I think it had 15,000 or so miles. No price listed. Sorry I was not paying more attention.

Call Tyler and he can give you more info.

I'm up in Lake Forest quite a bit. If you are serious let me know, I'll stop and take a claser look.

Edit: oops, did not see your last post. Disregard.

If it is red / tan with 57K, I saw it today.
Inside nice, but exterior is a bit rough. My 308 has a few less miles but looks WAY better.
    No price on the sticker...

Okay, how would you rate their mechanical knowledge? Would Continental Motors be better, equal, about the same or far superior? I had called Lake Forest, but I did not get that warm fuzzzy feeling that they really knew what they were doing.

I know Continental in Hinsdale is a Ferrari dealer, so would have more cars to work on, but that aside, for working on your basic 308, 328, 348, 355 would they be okay?

Both Lake Forest and Continental are authorized Ferrari dealers.

Okay, I'll check them out. I wonder why the Lake Forest guy didn't state so.

I hate the "do a search" nags, but do one.
Both of our local Ferrari dealers have great reputations.
