    Hi,

I have my '86 QV apart to address the clutch (and a myriad of other items). After removing the clutch assembly, I noticed there is a slight leak on the bottom most shaft on the gearbox...the one located under the lay shaft. The shaft I am referring to, is the shaft that travels back through to the differential. There is a flange that is against the gearbox wall and the leak is coming from behind this flange. My question is, how to I approach removing this flange? Do I have to split the gearbox? Has anyone a clue of how to remove the flange and replace this seal without disassembling the entire gearbox? Sorry for the grainy pic but thats the best I can do for now.

    Thanks,
    John

Funny that, in 20-plus years of Countach ownership never heard that one.... ;-)
