sweet! I wonder what else that may use this F1 Car while it is in town... Do you guys think the was an actual raced model or just a show car?

I spoke to the truck driver for a while he said it had no motor. I don't know if the chassis was raced. Maybe it was a back up.

Show car. Contrary to what Sylvester Stallone would want us to believe, the teams don't use their real cars as static displays. ESPECIALLY for a Johnny Walker display at the Latin Grammys.

Def last year's car. This year's car has a slight opening in the nose like an air intake, good eye Brian.

I read in a magazine that all F1 teams use old raced parts to build up F1-cars for some events like this. There is never an engine in it, so that nobody can make pics of some secret engine parts, or electronic parts and so far.

Ive seen several "rolling chassis". At the USGP I always see a F2002. They have a little stand that says this, but they repaint it every year to the newest livery. Not sure who owns it. I have seen it on Thursdays at the track and then once 2 years ago at the gathering. I think Bridgestone brought it to the gathering so they may own it.

I've seen pics of a Williams FW22 in the FW26 livery. Looked odd.

Ready for post #3,000, Brian? I just hit 3,500. A little behind Pap. :)

I wish, I work in the area, i just happened to be there when they rolled it out of the trailer. I spoke to the truck driver. I think while McLaren still owns the car Johnnie Walker is using it for promotions. The driver told me he knew nothing about F1 till he started hauling the car around and now he is a fan.
