...i put snow tires on the car :(

We had 80+mph winds the other day and then yesterday 2 inches of snow. Today was brief snow flurries on and off.

Soon it will be time for snow drifting and car control 'clinic' :)

SCOTT: Sorry dude, i wanted to have proper street rubber for the 11th, but Mother Nature had other plans.

No worries man. It will be kinda cool to see a 308 with snow tires.

I know how you feel, I was forced to put snows on mine due to a flat I suffered on Halloween night on one of my summer tires. I was hoping for at least another 3 weeks of running the summers.

Sorry to hear of the flat :( Which snow tires are you using? Have Blizzak WS50 here as we get DEEP snow here on the mountain.

Right now I'm using Blizzak LM-22's. They've been great for this Massachusetts "flatlander" :).

The only advantage of having a 1983 400i with Michelin TRX tires is that they look like snow tires already. Not that their compound works well in snow. Dunno, never tried them on snow although they actually work pretty well in the rain.

Like, dude, no way as driivng her being fed with cold, dense aitr is the SHIZNIT :)

FYI: the car may be leaving here as we did a compression/leakdown. The engine looks strong, not perfect. Debating which way to go... manybe a rebuiold, maybe a basic rework and blower... Looking to do 350HP/TQ at a minimum at the rear wheels. But for now, the Blizzak WS-50 are fine... until late December.

Other option, just admit defeat and buy a used open wheel purpose-build spec race car and spare bits. Hmmm...
