pp, the numbers are 3 digit eg 150, 230 180 etc so it would make sense that sticking another zero on would be the proper reference.
whats the point in selling them, unless its a huge profit, just to have a garage full of nice stuff is cool. MM asked what the next purchase might be.........i said either a 288 or F40 but really and PP could possibly answer this, how much more fun can be had in an F40 in comparison to 360 Challenge, neither can effectively be driven on the roads so why pay for something with a 6 or 7 in front of it
But you can't enter it in the Competition class even if you wanted to, can you? It's not old enough to qualify.
they have finally updated the details to the TT section of the CA to include the 360C btw hows prep going with fire stuff and shears etc?
whilst an F40 has considerably more grunt than a 360ch, the one time i drove a 360ch was at PI and it left me on a total high! fantastic cars i reckon.
Nearly there - I need another extinguisher and the shears. OTOH, I have a very neat helmet intercom system.
Dunno about that mate, you may be surprised. The car is very sensitive to ride height AND rake. Remember all that underbody aerodynamics at work. I am no expert; but I can tell you it gets very hairy with changes in height and slip angle with a 360. Try and make sure you get a decent drive on a road you know well before you dive in at the deep end at the event
goobs, if you want to work that sort of stuff out, you should have bought an HSV! i think on the track, the 360CH is more fun. On the road? well...i can't say for sure, really, as i've never driven a 360CH on the road.
Mark, it's probably too late now, but i spoke with Matt Clarke today who is Kevin Weeks Lambo mechanic and they have complete kits to fit lower racing seats on the original mounts and also lower the steering wheel on the SE.
Thanks for that - worth knowing for the future. I'm sure I can fit in the Gallardo if I tilt the seat back a bit anyway. The steering wheel is fine for me. The G is still my back up car if the BMW has a last minute hitch. It is in Melbourne for its 12,000km service and a repair to the clearbra. With Cup day being on Tuesday and no truck booked yet, I'll be pushing it to get it home in time for Mallala on Friday. I might drive it home on Wednesday if Lamborghini Melbourne can't find a truck in time.
with 4 more cylinders...............but still a great car, it starts, stops, goes and not one prayer in sight...............ferrari well thats another story.....hail marys were designed by ferrari
Ok very good; but it's also the road stuff that I am a bit concerned about. Bolt the trade plate on and go for a drive.
Mark, I'll actually be in Melb on Wed and flying out at 17.50. A 7hr ride in a Lambo sounds better than a 1hr flight in a 737. Wanna swap??!!!
