pretty cool to see that many 348's in one photo. If this happens again it should make for a good group photo.

    See you there.

Why do I get the feeling I just swallowed a large hook with a line and a big heavy lead weight on it...

I don't think VIR is on Corse Clienti's schedule just yet!

Will we need another inspection form?

John, get your dad to drive the Cobra down.

The Cobra will be there. I hope to try it out for a lap or two. Dad has been hogging all the seat time.

We did pre-event tech on the form Bob sent early on. I can forward it to you if you need it.

    Ken -

Just sent you one. See ya tomorrow evening. I have dinner reservations for everyone. We'll gather in the paddock around 7:30pm or so. Call me on my cell if you're running late/early/whatever.

The registration is now full; in fact, I think we let one or two extras sneek in.

Once again, it looks like the "midweek, full-course, VIR, no-guts, no-glory, private track day" will be a blowout.

    :)

Putting on my swim suit now...rain in Bristol. I need to get an inspection so it is extremely likely that I'll be eating a sandwich instead of dinner with you guys. I'll call when I'm close.

Many thanks to Bob Snow and Daniel Pass for putting on this track day. I was reminded how lucky we were when I found out that the Porsche club that followed us at VIR had 250 cars showing up for 6 run groups! That has got to be crowded.

    Looking forward to March.

Once again Bob and Daniel hosted a great event. More importantly was the great people who attended the event and the beautiful weather that we experienced. There were many familiar faces and even a few new guys/gals this time. Everyone had a great day and I welcome future opportunities to be involved with this group in the future.

Daniel, sorry I never got a chance to out with you...all the new guys from Atlanta were keeping me busy. We all sure had a great time too.

Enough cannot be said about Peter Krause from Krause and England. He went above and beyond the normal call of duty to assist a gentleman having a problem. We diagnosed the issue and were able to fix it so he could continue his day and make his way home troublefree.

To everyone else, thank you for a great day!

Thanks for the kind words. We are really quite blessed with our local club. It is the most incredible group of friends you'd ever want.

The next "private" track day will probably be in early spring, and of course the full 2007 FCA/NC schedule is being hammered out in the next few days.

^^ That's not fog... it's tire smoke from Eddie catching rubber as he shifted into 5th at the kink.
