need to do 2 things to make it work. Remove the inner metal sheet of the decklid and build a new air intake system. Once the air intake part is resolved, it will go in for the paint job.
I knew long ago why they have similar specs. but if they're manufactured from 1 place doesn't mean they're designed at the place. but now i know alot of them use sony's exploding batteries..
Dear bros,if i have intention to respray a QP from Blue to white, can u recommend a realiable spray or body shop for it,and also reasonably priced, thanks for yr advice.
Either Ah Long (Teh Yew Long) above Eurosports or Lim Yew Boo, tell them we sent you & hopefuly break the ice a little. Especially the later who can get moody if you know what I mean. A Long sometimes work pass midnight. Frankly, not quite worth it to change colour. You're going to spend at least S$5K for your size/brand of car & when you export, you get that amount off again from market price & buyers will find it suspicious, "accident before??" BTW, white looks cool to me & I'd like it if I'm buying a new 997 but it's the worst colour for export on any make. Another S$5K off.
Bro Ron,tks.Ah Long sometimes sleeps in as he has way too many cars to do and like u say LYB is vey temperimental,i dun really want to change color as well but u know the little superstitious feel gets the better of me.hmm whos else is good besides these 2.any other advices pls?
my friend ( who is very particular with his cars' paintwork ) just had his 355 gts resprayed at his regular resprayer and is pretty pleased with the work. if you really have to respray, i can get you the number..
Looks like the F430 Spider that Autobahn was selling is sold. any speculation that the owner made a profit or loss selling it?
Tks for yr offer and will get in touch with u when the decision of respraying is settled, many tks again.
Haha looks like you know them better than me! The thing about these old folks is if you show them some respect, buy them coffee or chitchat on their old days, they'll be realy nice to you. Lim even showed me his 1/12 Porcher kit Testarossa in his office. Another guy I used is Tan Seng Whatt, 5th floor of SinMing Autopoint. I might be spraying my 911 @ a paintshop in Eunos which belongs to a relative's buddy but I'm on a budget job so wouldn't expect too much. It's sad, my geomancer says I can't have silver coloured transport so I can't have my favourite silver/red combi. Can anyone other than dealers still make money on used cars now? My friend told me he just sold an 03 Audi RS6. Was there such a car here back then?
Hi guys, Just some facts to share with you: 1. The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano adopts a derivation of the impressive Magnetic Selective Ride Control found in Cadillacs and the Corvette. 2. Scaglietti designed and built racing Ferraris in the 1960s and mastered the art of forming aluminium bodies. Why isn't the Lamborghini LP640 on Lamborghinis pricelist yet? Somebody from sgforums has got a pic of an LP640 in Singapore! SFchallenge, your beautiful Testarossa was spotted and posted on sgforums!
Tuck, I thought your guy has already fabricated two metal boxes & you've got 550 boxes? Anyway, if you need the large air pipings, I've found those almost exactly the same as used in the 348. It's a hardware shop @ Kelantan lane area, they sell by the metre & cheap to me.
Carrozzeria Scaglietti is now owned by Ferrari, making bodies for F430 and 612. The personalization of Ferrari cars is also called the Carrozzeria Scaglietti program. So, you know who the Ferrari Dino is named after?
hey , didn't the image-uploaded appear ? I worked to find that pic for all ya'll readin' pleasure .... .
There is a new Ferrari Dino coming in 2008! Type in "Ferrari Dino" at www.google.com (images) and see it in the first pic shown! Beautiful Car.
So, you know who the Ferrari Dino is named after?[/QUOTE] ferrari named it after his son Dino who passed away..
Correct. Initially I thought it was named after his brother who died in the war. hehehe.. pistole's theory could be correct if the flintstones was popular in Italy.. then maybe his son was named after that dino .. if that was the case there would be a Ferrari Fred or Ferrari Barney.. Not sure if that's how the final Dino would look like.. but the word is, it's gonna be even lower specced than the F430
Hate to break the news...but this Dino thingy hor is already history liao lar...no more...word from the factory...
