After getting the "BIG" service done and depleting the Ferrari service funds, I found myself eating a lot of McDonald's because this was all I could afford! J/K But it did get me thinking, with the most recent McDonald's Monopoly promotion of winning $5 million with the four railroads, I would have to spend about $1 million in food, medical bills due to clotted arteries, and many visits for liposuction to possibly come close to winning. So wouldn't it be more beneficial to scour the US and see if anyone would be willing to split $ 5 million? I figure that if four people got together, each with the different railroads, we as a group would walk away with $ 1.25 million a piece. Any takers? The way I see it, a whole lot of something is better than a whole lot of nothing. I have Pennsylvania Railroad for starters.

BTW, I am attaching pics of the before and after stable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the game pieces have some sort of regional encoding on them to prevent just this sort of thing. I don't know for sure though.

Also, how does the 355 compare to the Esprit?

    MinchOO,

Thanks for bursting my bubble! Well I wasn't aware of the regional coding but thanks for the info. I'm still looking for anyone though, willing to jump in on this.

As far as the Lotus is concerned, it is a fun vehicle to drive but still no comparison to the F355. I've even gone through a head-to-head comparison (highway runs, not approved by local authorities) with my brother driving the Lotus then switching and both times the F355 pulled away. The Lotus is stock and the F355 has a Tubi exhaust with hyflow cats.

Although the Lotus pulls strong when the turbo's kick in, nothing beats the feel and sound of an F355 shifting through the metal gate at high revs.

Plans for the future are the addition of the GruppeM airbox, crossover pipes, NaPerformance headers, rear challenge grill, and powerchip. As of right now, I'm waiting on a set of 19" iforged wheels. I'll post pics once I have them on.

MVP, I'm thinking Pennsylvania Railroad is the most widely distributed. I ended up with 2 of them in the last week. I hope you are also able to benefit from this post and can get people within your region to jump in with you.

Not that easy...within each possible "monopoly" there is one impossible to find property....so in the example of the railroads...easy to find three of them....but next to impossible to find the elusive fourth on. ;) Trust me, in years past, I played the whole board, until I had every possible monopoly except for the ONE winning property for each one.

If that is true I could see them opening up a legal can of worms if you had someone who was a traveling type and gathered parts from all over the country during their travels and won. They would be hard pressed to say, 'Sorry...you should have stayed in your region'.

This thread reminded me of the last time we buzzed through a fast food drive thru in a yellow 512TR and had to turn off the car because they could not hear us ordering over the TR's cooling fans. LOL!! Lets just say they were very surprised when we pulled around to pay for our food. :D

Off topic, but the McRib is back. Mmmmm, nothing like a processed shaped meat product in a bun slathed in BBQ sauce with pickles and onions!

    tobias,

Thanks for the compliment. I will try to take more pics. One mod, as of right now that I'm most proud of is the front side marker delete. There is a shop where I live that did the work and I can honestly say the did a phenomenal job! I am waiting until it's gets too cold to drive then send my car back to the shop to get the rear side markers filled, polished to get out all the imperfections, waxed, and stored for the winter. Also, as I stated before, the last mod for the year is the addition of 19" iforged Trial wheels. I can't wait to get those as I'm hoping it will improve the styling of the vehicle. So...if anyone wants a set of chrome Speedline wheels, let me know. Before anyone freaks out, yes I already have them posted on ferrariads. I'm drastically lowering the price if anyone is interested. At this point, I would like to just get rid of them as I already have 2 additional full sets of wheels and tires taking up space at the house. My wife would kill me if I had another set laying around!
