Alex Kustov has lots of experience with Model Factory Hiro kits. He posts here but I don't remember his screen name. He has a website with reviews of Model Factory Hiro and other kits. Go to www.italianhorses.net Click on "Kit Reviews". The kit you're asking about is not reviewed, but several others are.

I'm looking for a 512S kit to rebody as the Pinifarina 512S showcar. I had planned on getting a styrene kit that was first offered about 30 years ago, but another builder has convinced me to get the MFH kit. It has a better....well....everything!

MFH are really detailed kits however I had serious trouble with some of them.
As example the 250 GT SWB was a disaster...very bad fitting, had to scratchbuild the engine bay, the 166 MM barchetta could also have been a lot better, but for the 275 GTB series or the 250 GTO (ex-climax) no problem at all.
I think that these adjustments problems must not occur when paying more than 200 dollars for a kit !
So if I can share my advice I would say this : wait to get some kit review or feedback before making the purchase, check for review on :

I haven't seen many multimedia kits that have full engine detail in them so that's pretty cool. I'm actually in the process of trying to convince myself to spend the money of the Studio 27 248 F1.

    I begin it, and hello.
    I am a Japanese.
I am disappointed at the badness of the result of a minicar, and, as for me, all the F1 produces a kit.
MFH is the kit which is splendid.
Most are Full detail kit, but it is considerably precise, and, as for the kit of this maker, attention is necessary for fitting of a part.
I take off a hood and do not care about fitting too much because I display engine parts so that I see it.
GA of MFH seems to be considerably well-proportioned.

i bought a studio27 248.....it's on its way. ...had to get the full sponsorship decal seperately.
I consider getting a MFH's 2003ga because tamiya didn't come out with one. luckily, tamiya is coming out with the fxx......don't have to spend big$$$ on the e-jan kit. I'm sure that e-jan (MFH) makes fantastic kits but, tamiya kits are great. ...& a lot cheaper.
the f2003ga is my all time favorite ferrari single seater....i have no other options.
i wouldn't even consider getting a revell f2003ga......don't like the revell quality.

I have three MFH kits, none of them is started yet. After visual check i'd have to say that they are absolutely one of the best kits that i've seen. Body proportions seem to be spot on, no pinholes in resin parts etc. And the subject choises are great!

Don't know about conversion rates from yen to $, but for European customers MFH kits are a steal at the moment. (Compare around €120 for most of other Resin/multimedia kits to €180 price of MFH)
