    Black exterior
    Sand beige interior
    Yellow RPM counter
    Yellow brakes
Quilted seats and roof (Stitching in dark brown) Dealer told me black stitching was too much on the quilted seats. Should I pick Piping too? or it looses it straight line look after a while
Sport package excluding ceramic brakes (HGTS)
    Scudaria sheilds
    front and back sensors

I called my dealer last week and told him I want to change the interior color to Black with yellow stitching. He told me it would make the car feels smaller from the inside and would cheapen the car because of the yellow stitching, he said it would be nice on F430 but not the 612. I need your input please on leaving the interior in beige with dark brown stitching or change the stitching to black or change the interior to black with the yellow stitching.

Many thanks for everybodys input. By the way no harm was done with the REALLY thing.

It makes me sad when i read a "do you like my car specs" thread, and the car is exactly how id get mine! You are so lucky! Go with what ever you want on the interior, maybe you could see a 612 with those colors on the interior. I personally would choose the beige.

I think the beige with the brown stitching would like a lot better than the black. But it's your car.

I think your dealer is trying to point out that the 612 is not as extreme of a car as a 430 so most people wouldn't do a black/yellow deviated stitching interior. The Beige with brown stitching will look great if you ask me, and if I were you I would go with that. Not to beat a dead horse, but go with what you like not the dealer because afterall, it's your $$$.

You are going to have some black color in the interior of the car anyway (dash, trim pieces, windshield posts, etc) so I would do the piping and stitching in black.Don't need another color ie brown stitching. If you want to hedge your bets a little, use the finer stitching instead of the thicker one. This car, in my opinion, needs a little bling to make it work.

Do reverse stitching..........black on beige, beige on black..........which is what was done on the car in the pics I posted above. It looks awesome.

I was at Cauley a few weeks ago and spent some time looking at the car Kizdan posted.

    Absolutely stunning in the flesh.

I don't think I've seen beige stitching on black before -- in my imagination it looks terrible, and I'd never consider it.... but does it look good in the flesh ? any close-up pics available ?

That 612 is awsome. The details and the elegance really seperate it from the crowd.

I agree with your dealer about the interior color stitching.

It does make the car look more racy, and that belongs in a car like the 430 rather than the more GT-like 612. I think the original color combo you ordered will look perfect. Congratulations and definitely post pics of the arrival!

I still need your opinion on the Piping. Would it loose structure (No longer a straight line) after a while. Thanks

I have had piping on many Ferraris and none have lost structure. Highly recommend it. It helps to define the interior, setting the various seat components apart from the rest of the interior.

Definitely no black interior, tan or beige is lovely and you will not regret it.
    Definitely no piping.

I saw a silver 612 the other day and it looked magnificent!

Have you thought about black interior with silver stitching and piping? I saw it on a SuperAmerica and thought it was the most fabulous thing ever!

see attached link for black with black and silver stitching on a car I am trying to buy at the moment, clearly I like it but the tan is great too.

    http://www.ferrari.co.uk/index.php?flashvar=preowned

when the link comes up click on the 612 selection then search and it is the black one on the first selection.

agree with the others its your cash. Black is very sporty the tan is very opulent.

    cheers
