    Hey,
it may seem an odd request, and some will probably tell me to google it... I have already. So please help me if you can!

Here's what I need. I need a clear picture of the stick of a manual car, preferrably Ferrari,, but i suppose any car is ok. I'm having a buddy do a photoshop for me to make a program for my mp3 video player and hes making a menu screen for me that will be car related. It shoudl be cool, i will post screen shots when its done, for those of you dont quite understand... cause i suck at explaining it.

So basically, a clear detailed picture of the stick shift on a Ferrari (sports car!).
    Thanks,
    Chris

i love the gated shifters, but i wonder why they switched to having 1st gear at the top. i really liked it on the bottom left. it was different. porsche used to do that too.

So in the up-down (right) up-down was R-1, 2-3 etc? That's strange, never seen one like that before. Then again, I've only driven two manual cars. :p

The 348 and other 5 speed Ferrari's around that time had 1st in the bottom left corner. I believe Ferrari called it something along the lines of F1 style?

Having first on the bottom left was popular for a while on performance and racing cars with five-speed transmissions. You can imagine why - first gear is rarely used on a racetrack, so once you're in second gear it's all H-pattern. Since second and third gear are used often you just had to go forward to 2nd from 3rd when downshifting, instead of down and to the left.

Cool pics Scott. :) It almost seems that you have a stick shifter/H-pattern fetish with all these cool pics. :D:D
