if you think of it what is wrong with a chassis flexing ,even a high rise building moves or a boeing 747 has wing movement,flex.

hehehe...you guys are having nightmares over this, aren't you? let's just clarify.....BB flex...it's bad for a "supercar"...is that better? it's bad enough that i wouldn't put in stiffer than standard springs, because much of that would be taken up with MORE flex..and more flex= bad+damage eventually.
err. no actually... once again, you're dreaming... lets just clarify... BB's flex.. YES. 355 flex.. YES.. and a 355 GTS or spider flex WORSE than a BB 550 flex surprisingly badly.. I think worse than BB. F40 flex worse than BB F50 barely flex at all.. but still a bit... all of the cars flexing doesn't stop them being resposive to up graded road rate springs...

no.. you said/implied fitting stiffer springs will only make it flex more and not yield any handling gains... which is wrong... F40's are terribly weak cars chassis/mechanically... just awesome creations...

sounds like a great idea , imagine the tax break on the interest , never make money , never pay tax . me thinks it's got real legs, only issue could be the insurance but others are doing it now
anyone can laugh as much as they like.... I saw them (F40) being built on the production line, I've seen one twisting on the dyno without bodywork, I've been at Michelotto workshop and seen the lengths they went to to reduce flex on the race cars, and I've experienced it myself on many different examples in workshops... I stand by the comment.... laugh hard as you like.

not obsessed at all.. just telling facts as I've personally experienced them. Nope. BB not for sale. Got loads I want to do with it first. maybe in 18 months though. Yes, I've beaten many 355's at track days. Maybe it's me, maybe the car... chassis flex ... yep, F40 like a 308...only without the minimal panel strength a 308 offers...
