Jay Leno has a new website called "Jay's Garage", featuring all things automotive, message board, etc. There's a section called "Your Garage" to post pics and descriptions of cars...probably a couple of hundred have been posted by now and so far mine is the only Ferrari on there...a few more would give it some company, and let Jay know that there are car guys out there who think he should spend some of that $$$$$ on stuff besides an Olds Toronado with a 1000 horsepower engine, jet motorcycles, and similar vehicles. It's "easy and fun"...register on the site, upload a standard pic and write a short description. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/garage/index.shtml
There is only one word to respond to the report that Jay (or anyone else for that matter) doesn't have any Ferraris - dilligaf
i'll provoke. what kind of idiot wastes his time trolling on car forums he doesn't like? and i thought i was wasting my time here.
jay leno has such an extensive knowledge of automobiles in general that it blows even my mind. some of those cars he has i've ever heard of and he knows their entire history. he also designs his own cars, such as the eco jet and that car with the tank engine
4 Ferraris on Jay's Garage now...my 330 2+2, a 328 GTS, a Lusso, and an F430 F1! There's room for plenty more.
I believe the reason Jay Leno said a while back why he didn't own any Ferrari's was because of how he got treated every time he walked into a Ferrari dealer. He apparantly didn't care for the dealer attitude that some have, and it turned him off the brand.
I wouldn't have any Porsches or Japanese cars. I say that not to start a flame war or intimate they are not well made performance cars; its just they are brands that don't do anything for me. I'm also not big on Chevy, but I sure would have a '62 Vette and a '57 Belaire.
Just to let you know, I have owned 7 Corvettes from a 92 to an 06 Z06. When I take into consideration what makes a car a great car, (looks, comfort, performance, reliability, easy-to service and cost of service, bang-for-the-buck,) the Corvette is one of the best cars on the planet. So please don't give me that "it's still a Chevy" line. And oh, by the way, I drive a Ferrari.
Lets see what I would really love to have in my garage is a 308. Those are the best Ferrari's of all, even better than the Enzo or F40. I joined so I could see the pictures when someone links a thread here.
That's like, the one that goes super fast right?? I would trade in my Rolls Royce Phantom for that any day!
