    it;s just a joke lol. and yes, the rear wing comes up when there's heavy braking. it's like some sorta air brakes. go to youtube and type Top Gear Slr Mclaren. and watch the review.

    [Of course I'm speaking out of pure ignorance, but] Sounds scary to me. What happens when you blow an alternator belt, no brakes?

    I'm immediately reminded of the Top Gear episode where they show footage of the brakes actually combusting. Nothing has ever made my jaw drop more.
