Naples Jazz Fest open invite

The Naples Jazz Society is hosting an all Day Jazz Festival on Saturday November 11, 2006 from 10 am to 11 pm. The Naples Ferrari Club will be there. There will be corral parking for Ferraris.

Here's what I know so far on the Jazz Festival. The Ferrari Corral Parking is for the whole day, so F-owners can come any time. I know that from 10 am to noon there will be special events for pets (treats, fashion show, pet walk, door prizes). Then there will be Rum Rumblings ( I'm not sure what that is but I do want to find out), Swing dancing in the early evening, followed by high energy jazz at night.

Tickets for Ferrari owners will be Gratis. I just need to know how many.

The Sarasota and East Coast Ferrari groups are invited ( as is anyone that wishes to come.) If we get enough people, we can make a weekend of it, with a cocktail reception on Fri Evening and a brunch on Sunday morning. I have spoken to a couple of hotels/Inns close by that would love to accommadate us (security parking, etc). This is all close to 5th ave shopping and dining downtown.

Please see attached flyer. Let me know how many are interested and I'll put together a few choices for places to stay. If any one wishes to bring a pet let me know.

As I get more info I'll pass it along. It will be a lot of fun!!! Did I mention the Rum Rumblings?

Masers are welcome, as are any exotics, to park in the corral. The event just got extended to two days ( Sat/Sun) due to the great response. I'll get the roster of performers as soon as its final and post it. I'll also have contact info for places to stay, as well as an itinerary for "extracurricular" activities.

This will be a fun venue for the South Florida Groups to get together, without the pressure of a show.

Here's the skinny.


Naples Ferrari Club would like to invite everyone to a Ferrari /Jazz Fest Weekend starting on Friday Nov. 10th. People can come for the weekend or just a day trip.

The Naples Jazz Society (www.naplesjazzsociety.com) is hosting a 2 day Jazz Fest charity event with part of the proceeds going to the Eden House (Naples Ferrari Club sponsored charity ). There will be Free tickets ( good for both days), Reserved parking, free detailing,"VIP" section access, and a pre event Friday Ferrari party.

Here's the line up for the Jazzapalooza weekend festival Nov 10,11 and 12th at the Hibiscus Center ( Zazou and Melting Pot, 2950 US 41, Naples).

Friday Nov. 10th starting at 4:00 pm there is a Ferrari Club kick off party at Bayfront (www.bayfrontnaples.com) , hosted by The Belagio Restaurant (www.bayfrontnaples.com/restaurants.htm) They will have wine, appetizers and a jazz band playing all outside by the marina just for us. The Ferrari Dinner will be as a group at 7:30 pm.

Saturday Nov 11th at 9:30 am we will start parking for the Ferrari owners at the Hibiscus Center ( Zazou and Melting Pot Building on US 41). Mobile Detailing will be on site for complimentary detailing for our cars. There will be Mimosas and muffins on hand for us. Saturday morning is a great time to bring your pet. There will be treats and prizes for a fun pet show along with the Jazz. Music and dancing the rest of the day. Come and go as you please.

Saturday Nov 11th From 5:00 pm on, dinner at The Melting Pot ( which is on site). www.meltingpot.com/Naples/home.html

Sunday Nov. 12th at 11:30 am we can start parking with Mobile Detail on site again and a breakfast brunch buffet ( with mimosas of course) for the Ferrari group, along with the music.

Food and refreshments ( booze) will be available.

Places to stay are Bellasera www.bellaseranaples.com , Inn on fifth www.innonfifth.com , Ritz 1 www.ritzcarlton.com/resorts/naples and Ritz 2 www.ritzcarlton.com/resorts/naples_golf_resort , Naples Grande ( formerly the Registry) www.naplesgranderesort.com/naples as well as many other chains.

DJDM,
Friday at 4pm is the Ferrari cocktail party with music, wine and appetizers at a beautiful outdoor venue Bayfront on the water. We as a group will sit for dinner at the hosting restaurant at 7:30. After dinner I expect that a group of us will probably move on to some of the clubs in the area ( Sway, Sanibel Nights, Zen, Handsome Harry's, etc.) I would suggest Bellasera to stay for the night ( Very boutique). Then saturday come early to the Jazz fest, leave midday for a stroll on fifth ave and head back or take a "rest" at the hotel then back to the fest for early dinner at the Melting Pot followed by music and dancing. Just let me know when you will be heading over and I'll put in the final numbers for RSVP's. same for Jazz tickets, they will be at will call for you. All beautiful companions are welcome. You'll score major points with her for this outing. I hope Ron is bringing his sheep.
