What is the view of the motorcycle gangs around where you live?
Do you have criminal 'outlaw' MC gangs (i.e Hells Angels, Bandidos etc), or do they follow the law?

Im asking because of a article im writing. Feel free to post any story´s etc that you know of.

Most MCs follow the law. In the 60s and 70s, when they were looking to be in the public eye they would disobey the law to attract attention. Now, most of it lies low.

Hmm okey. Because over here in Sweden Bandidos and hells angels are the largest criminal groups around. Extortions, drug dealing and murders once in a while, is day to day life for them.

Around here, most 'bikers' are accountants and attorneys in black leather drag

I went to high school in Daytona Beach, they have one of the biggest gatherings every year for over 60 years now....Bike Week. Never heard of any problems. I think it is too expensive and attracts to much attention to be in a gang.

Heard a story that Hells Angels or some group, the guys had to go down on a women as initiation while she was on her period....

I figured that overseas from here.

In the states, the HAs lay low. There's a few gangs that try to prove their "badassness." A few years back, I'm sure you know about this, the Hells Angels/Mongols brawl in Laughlin, Nevada.

Most MCs, I assume, do a lot of trafficking of firearms and drugs. They let their young guys do everything. I'm talking the 20-30 year olds doing the fighting, smuggling and trafficking, carrying weapons.

Occasionally you'll hear about a raid into a few HA or other clubhouses and homes, but that's not too often. Usually its because the person either has a warrant or is being followed for some sort of trafficking.

I have a hard time seeing Bandidos MC Texas, which is the "Motherchapter" (where it all began so to say), would be attorneys and accountants :)

But I assume your talking about regular bikers, not biker gangs.

    I think the going down on a woman initiation all started in New Zeeland. I have a documentary on my xbox about the Mongol gang in NZ, and one of the old guys in the gang explained;

"I threw her up on the bar and went down on her. She was on her period so I grabbed her tampoon with my teeth and spit it out, then continued to go down on her, it was quite a mess. We were crazy back then"

That may have continued as some kind of initiation in Mongol chapters outside and or inside NZ.

I think that the MC gangs here in Sweden are where HA and Bandidos were during the 60´s/70´s in the States. What I found most interesting was that they did a survey on Bandidos X-team (support crew) and 9 out of 10 didn´t even own a harley.

I would certainly agree with the state of Swedish MCs. All of Europe is like that.

I met a guy who was a U.C. for a while in the 'outlaws' . He said that they are all still very active but you just dont hear about it usually. A year or two ago there was a big deal where four or five of them turned up dead in a car or something. Im pretty sure nothing ever came of it. Most of the media buzz gets turned down a bit.

It´s quite the opposite over here. We got the media spitting out things about the MC gangs like every other day. The most recent situation was when the Bandidos MC westcoast president was on his way to a nightclub and the new guy at the door couldn´t let him in because of "lack of proper clothing".

I mean come on if you see the bandidos president walking in you dont exactly mess with him like that. Well the guy that wouldn´t let him in got his car blown up in the middle of Gothenburg, with the help of a handgrenade under his rear tires.

Seems like most of them around here (Michigan) are into raising money for kids charities etc. They do party and like to have a good time, but the meth dealing, car theft and murder for hire seems to have taken a back seat. I just conducted the funeral for a local member of the 'Vigilantes' lots of beer drinking and pot smoking but they were a nice bunch of guys when you stripped it all down, they just danced to their own drummer.
