i received my tips yesterday.first to me the they are worth the money.highly polished and slide over the existing tips with no play.a dramatic difference in the look with these installed.installation time about 5 minutes.as i told Jason i could of had these made in our fab shop and the help of other vendors we deal with but the time and effort to save some money is out weigted by these tips .i was an advocate of the existing tips but not anymore.i will post pictures.thanks Jason for a great product.

Larini are making a proper tail pipe section. This way you loose the nasty inside of the stock system

What is the cost of those? I don't think you can beat these for $549.

Oh....I'm sure you can beat these.....if you offer them $545 they'll take it! :)

Just to be sure...these are not actaul pipes are they? I'm under the impression they are sheathes or pieces that slip over the existing tips????

These are 1/8" thick billet 304 stainless steel sleeves that slip over the existing tips. The benefit is a non-permanent modification with a quick install. I own Exotica Motorsports so if you have any questions you can post them here. Thanks.

    They complete the F430 effortlessly.

Why replace alot of things that are not broken, my .03 (inflation) :)

Strange ... you like the beautiful tips but feel that slip ons are best based on "...not broken..."

My thought would be that the OEM tips look bloody perfect and that adding "slip ons" is

    ...at best "gilding the lily."

...at worst ruining a statement that, to us, advises that the car is not just all show .... there's a savage beast lurking under all that purty bodywork.

No prob; they are beautiful tips. Enjoy!

    Regards,

    Richard.

    I agree .... somewhat.

The OEM tips are a major contrast. That's what I like about them.

Raw! Maybe even .... crude. Yet they fit the car's character (IMHO).

I should mention that i'm not a fan of Bling.

    Regards,

    Richard.

Aren't you the one that owns Tony's F430? If so, his car was the first one to have our tips due to using his and Marty's F430's as test mules.

I beg to differ ... the F430 is mine. Mine I tell ya. LOL!

Yes. I'm pretty sure Tony liked them. I didn't. <shrug>

    Vive la difference! ;-)

    Regards,

    Richard.

I kind of figured you wouldn't want me to refer to it as "Tonys".

Did you remove them or did Tony before he sold it?

This is actually a good thing to talk about when referring to our tips. Tony liked them and actually came to me to have them made. He loved them on the car but then decided to sell the car. The next owner, you, did not and it was a simple removal to put the car back to stock condition. That is the best part of these tips, a non-permanent modification!

If you like them, run them until you sell it and then it is simple enough to but the car back to stock condition.

Thank you for your input Richard.

You make a good point. I have been debating whether to change the look or leave the tips as they are. They look aggressive and performance directed. However, these stainless steel tips do look very good and are reasonably priced. If the OEM tips bothered me, I would not hesitate in buying the Exotica tips.

I hope you noticed the laughter. IOW no prob. ;-) I always chuckle when I hear "Isn't that Tony's car?" Etc.

BTW, one reason I purchased the car was because Tony owned it.

Tony did. Don't recall what he did w/em.

    Excellent points!

Ie; I replaced the POS Becker radio.I still have the Becker and will probably re-install it when I sell the car.

    HIH.

It bears repeating .... by discussing our likes and dislikes we learn more about each other. And perhaps even realize we have more in common than we thought.

We also learn more about the products, services, etc, which we discuss. ;-)

    Regards,

    Richard.

I am happy to report that these exhaust tips and all of our other parts will be starting to be advertised in Forza magazine. I just made an agreement with the publisher and we will start advertising in both Forza and Excellence for our Porsche line. Very exciting but scary as well.
