Does anyone know whereI can get a part for my 87 Mondial. The attached picture shows the drivers side piece (and the passenger side piece is just as bad)
It's a sort of hardened rubber and it seals and separates the front and rear windows when the convertible top is up.

I have the same problem with mine. Contact GCalo on this site and see if he is going to have these made. I'll buy a set, too.

I'm sure TRutlands or Maranello Auto Parts in the UK can get them, they are just ridiculously expensive.

You know...I could use a set of these too. perhaps a group buy or have a few sets custom made out of a better material like what mercedes uses.

    Hey guys,

Email Daniel @ RICAMBI (one of our sponsors) regarding those parts. I remember reading that Moorspeed got the OEM replacement parts for a Mondial t, just prior to making delivery of a car that they sold.

    Good luck,

    Hank

I just had stevekni's Mondial in my shop for the major service. It just left today. What a sweet car it turned out to be. 14K original miles. Steve I can tell you by looking at my Mondial coupe that the coupe and convert seals are totally different. Keep looking buddy!!!

If someone can make replacments at a reasonable cost, they could sell a ton of them.

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk

Has some but they are very expensive, over $400 with shipping.

Last I heard they listed for about $325 in the US.

I have been in touch with Ricambi and they are working with their supplier in Italy to sort these out as there seems to be a discrepancy with what exactly fits what. I will post the response as soon as I get it.

They are cheaper at Maranello Concessionaires in Great Britain. The part is called a Mounting Plate Seal. Make sure you specify right or left side.
