Never washed ya car? ;) If you look closely you'll see a hose in that reflection. As you know they fur up within minutes of washing.

Yeah I guess it is... Long way away from putting the body on - need some running gear first!

Theres a few cheap mondial lumps about, or really rotten rough/incomplete Mondials only fetch £2-2.5k, you could always do an engine transplant with one of those

Didn't spot the hose before - every car I've had has done that as well!

    Graham,

saw your car at the Ferrari Concours last year. I still think it's one of the coolest Ferraris I've ever seen.

How is the car going? Last time I heard you had some tire problems!?

It's the same engine as the TVR 350i but the Rover weighs 200kg more.

Ach just stick twin turbos on it and you'll be sorted!

Thats passed though my mind a few times...

The car will always be in the evolutionary cycle - just about to buy a V6 Renault turbo engine and box to get it moving. Need to get the thing on the track first then start upgrading.

But for a £/bhp - ferrari lumps are not that good...

Yes but think how cool it would be, also in the long run it would make its resale value a very desirable price (I would be interested in another Ferrari engined track/race car)

Fair point, not building it to sell though, I've got a really poor record of ever selling anything (much to my girlfriends horror). Perhaps in the future - but for right now its going to be cheep :)

A renault v6 turbo, with box, £500 - tunes fairly easily to 350 BHP - job done :)

Will keep you posted of progress - it might drive like a bad if sh*te yet :(

Only got it today, so haven't got round to taking pictures on inside or anything yet, cream leather seats interior. Will get my usual number plate put on this week too.

Made someone jump when started engine at petrol station & impressed 2 neighbours so far on arrival home. One way to get to know the neighbours!

    Am loving it already...
