oh so an ordered DB9S qualifies for NOT being a nice guy...................ok now i know where i stand

 

hang on...i just noticed...what the "S" bit?

 

It's going to be in the next James Bond movie, Gobber wants to be like Mr Bond The DB9S looks pretty mean

 

u been on the moon for the past 3 months.
from Jan 1 they (AM) start production on the DB9S which is a sports version of the DB9, its lower, remapped ECU, cosmetically different (aka tougher), wheels, and mine arrives 2nd week of july

 

gobber is someone else, the bond car is the next vanquish not the DB9S

If I'd known that Giovanni was going to be so nice about the scruffiest car in the FCA, then I'd have given him and his box of wine a lift home! It still runs nice at 100mph and it was good to blow the cobwebs out of the system. Maybe we can give you a lift next time John Anyway, here is a pic courtesy of Pete Wall from the start of the run showing the 430s. Do you think my hat will get as stylish as PPs one day?

scored a whole 300/500 at the last concour ... dead last

 

We didn't crack 300 I think Moretti! The paint chips from the 20/30 year old paint job all across the nose of the car tend to let it down a little, along with the rust bubbles in the drivers door and numerous other faults. Goes well though and sounds excellent through the Northbridge tunnel.

Forgot to mention that I saw a short balding Italian man driving a 355 on Saturday afternoon too. rego "Cavallino" - you know it Dingo?

speaking of Cavallino, I got my latest one from you the other day and still haven't had a chance to get it off my son so I can have a read

all my mags are second-hand thanks to my boy, I may have to get a second subscription just so I can have a read of a new one

OHh yeah!! Its called the DBS easy to confuse with the DB9S.

Gobber is the Mr Bond. Goober isnt

 

saw it when it was in for service at Barbagallo (was in pieces up on the hoist), but never on the road.

NOT at all,I'm a nice guy witha old Aston Martin and I ordered a new V8 Vantage have since put on hold .Hoping they will release the RS version.Many long term owners not only have OHOS but also current cars,they just choice not to boast about it.

 

that's funny...i thought all astons were RS!!

 

Aston Martin is that what your going on about.great cars,alloy bodies ,hand built.1959 they fixed up the Ferrari red head cars at Lemans and the world championship.never sell mine.

 

Unfortunately Carl Jones is OS chasing Asian schoolgirls at the moment. Otherwise we would be reading about how poorly made AM's are and how crap they are to work on (sorry Robert). I remember going to a track day as a P plater in a Celica many years ago. The AM's would motor away in a straight line; but under brakes and in corners I was all over them. That was it for any AM desire from me I am afraid.

 

i guess you're not going to get too much sympathy about astons on ferrarichat!
