worlds fastest speeding ticket

240mph? 386km/h!! Are you serious!! Did the lock him up and throw away the key?? Unbelieveable if its true!!

 

I'd like to know what radar unit was being used....Not every patrol car is equipped with one that will register that high. Maybe a couple DPS. One I used borrowed from my uncle would only register to 200mph. Be cool to see the dash vid for though....See how the officer reacted.....

 

I will assume 240 kph.

That's hella quick though.

Not too many cops would give a warning for that!

 

Are you sure he got a ticket? I know he apparently hit 240 and aparently there is also a video of it but i don't think he got a ticket...

Not read the links above but i thought it was 240mph. I heard of it a while ago!

 

that was here in mn, and it was a guy on a bike. Come to find out the Stste trooper in the heli above him did his math wrong so the ticket got thrown out.


edit: just watched the top gear vid, "limp wristed fairy liquid the americans call petrol."

 

nice....I remember that bike....that was all over the US news.

 

yeah, they tested the exact bike and it couldnt even get close to that speed.

 

Just saw this post.. thought it was interesting. Wouldn't the guy have just out run the cops?? Faced with that kind of situation, I'm of the opinion that taking a risk might be justifiable .

 

lol...I've known a person who blew the speed limit out of the water. Soon as he saw the cop, he immediately put on the brakes and pulled over. He waited in his car for the cop to come up...After a little banter, the officer told him he was glad that he pulled over. They ended up looking at his car and the officer instead just gave a ticket for 90 in a 60. My friend was more than greatful...lol

 

I've been stopped at 241kmh in an 80kmh zone, and I can tell you that I am not the title holder for World's Fastest Speeding Ticket.

I've seen others stopped at 200 MILES an hour. As such, my reasoning would suggest that the World's Fastest Speeding Ticket has to be much, much higher than 200 mph.

 

the koenigsegg was participating in the Gumball rally. I believe he was pulled over in either Texas or Alabama.
