    yes i saw team goober and the massive amounts of wheel spin generated from Team MHH's M5 LOL! when i saw it i shat myself laughing!

    oh and seeing the new 599 was pretty special too with a bit of "it looks better in real life" mark seemed to like it too!

    Also why no pics of the green 1962 250 GTE!!!

    i couldn't be bothered shooting *everything* ! when you're in a parking lot like that full of hot cars it's hard to pick anything special out, plus i didn't bother turning up until late coz i wasn't really interested in the 2 million porkers.

    actually, i turned up at 2pm coz sifi said that's when thoroughbred touring prologue started.... i did a lap, saw that there were the aforementioned 2 million porkers to go before them so ducked down to the Havelock for a steak and pint (well, 3 pints :p ). my lord, the 'New York T-Bone' is *huge* :eek: i had people at other tables and passers-by on the street asking "is that 'the steak'?!!??" as it's a $15 special on wednesdays.

    got a pic with my phone (pint glass for relativity... put your hand out at 3/4 height of a pint glass... that's how fat my steak was! :) )

    there are only two entered in as far as i know, but they were on the track at the same time and it sounded awesome!

    anyone who has met SiFi will realise just how true that statement is. oh, meant in the nicest possible way Simon :D

    and the top came down on the hairdresser spec 356 before the prologue too. :)

    What a great day. I took quite a bit of video which I'll try to get posted during the weekend.

    The clips of the F40, 599, M5, DeTomaso, Countach and 2x 360Cs are especially good because I stood (or kneeled) right behind them as they took off. :)

    I was very impressed with MHH's getaway - the footage came out great!

    Goober certainly entertained the audience with his bouts of enthusiastic revving. 360C's were easily the best sounding cars of the day.

    By chance I also managed the catch the GT4 spinning off at the Senna chicane and very narrowly missing the tree. The Ford GT40 spun off similarly last year but didn't get quite so close to the vegetation. :D
