Weather Bug says Sunday will be mostly sunny, highs in upper 40's.

A bit cool, but no rain!!!

Lotus Elise. I've been a "maybe" all along so I'm not on the big list. Now that I've had the car on the road without a passenger side mirror I find that it's actually not too bad (the blind spots are far worse on the driver side), so I may still show up.

Should we bring these if we have one???

    Might save some aggravation.

Also, a written course description with cell phone #'s of the "pack leaders" will help us re-group if necessary.

Dave Radios are a good idea. Bring them if you have them. I have the route all written out with a copy for everyone including accompanying maps for the route copied. I will suggest that group leaders give out cell phone numbers to their group and the other leaders for just the reason you mentioned. Thanks for the ideas. Jon

Do you have street addresses for the major meeting/stopping points? That'd make it easy for those with nav systems to enter them in before the drive. That way if they do lose the rest of their group they can just hit "go" and hopefully catch up at the next break.

I did a drive last month where the instructions were just in the "turn here, turn there" format without many place names, which made it difficult to find the stopping points ahead of time. By the end of it that drive did get chopped up into 2 to 3-car clusters spread out over a huge area all taking different routes. One person broke off for home halfway through and several people followed him to the wrong exit. Others stopped for gas mid-route. It also didn't help that one of the turns was listed as a right when it should have been a left :). By the time I reached the final destination I was driving alone and I think several people never even made it.

    Hi,

I am interested in attending if I would be welcome. I no longer have any of my F cars but can bring my Murcie and represent the dark side :)
I am trying to clear some things to allow me to make it. I posted a short time ago but deleted it after finding the information I needed as far as location of the Iron Skillet. If anyone can confirm, I believe it's in Elkton, Md?

    Thanks.

    Jeff

You know our cars well Tony. 95 @ Rt. 152 - Mountain Road - Park-n-Ride is the easiest one around. It's directly on the way to the event. As soon as you take the 152 exit, the park-n-ride is one the left and we can shoot right back on 95N. Let me know what time to be there. Looking forward to some more real-time high speed pics....
