Why are news readers,current affair idiot sheet readers regared as celebrities.

All throughout the Spring racing carnival I have seen photos,interviews with idiot sheet and tv people in the daily papers,WHY all I want is for these poorly educated,common people is to read and or present stories.Is it self promotion by the media companies?

or the trailer trash off the soapies,Kept thinking what are all these interviews with P.Pless.

empty celebrities have no place, i'd rather the paperboy got paid better than them, when your biggest achievement in life is that you were spat out pretty and have learnt to read it's a bit sad, not that they shouldn't be there, but the fact they think they're important is the sad bit.

remember funniest home videos when it started here with graham kennedy, that was a funny show aside from the videos, after that they put on a series of talking heads and it was just an annoying show. still like watching people get hit in the scone at pinyata parties.

99% of the humans' section of Funniest Home Videos is staged and totally unfunny. The animal videos are the best part of that show - at least they look to be unpremeditated (wow - that's a big word to write)
