that's the general consensus it seems (of a sample size of 2 ), however GP yesterday said he wasn't playful enough to drive without it on his, merely choosing to recite one of goober's favourite confucious say... "don't confuse ambitions with capabilities."
IIRC, the system works based on wheel speed. The sensors are very sensitive to variation. If you're hammering the car and spinning the wheels the wheel speed at each corner may be different enough to upset the tyre warning system. Either that or the increase in temperature / pressure of the tyres from heavy driving may be increasing the circumference of the tyres enough to throw out the system. Either way, to reset it you have to be stationary.
The tyres were getting a lot harder treatment today than they got in the NT, particularly in the braking and cornering.
Actually, to reset tyre slipage sensor, you need to be driving at over 30kph.... There is another reset for the system where you can do it either stationary or moving.
Have a look at page 167 of the manual. Also there is that other reset I told you about....press the DVD and DISK eject buttons at the same time as pressing the manual radio button.
I must get a Ferrari, beemas don't have that option. Yeah, you're right, whilst they may be a safety thing in one way, they are a PITA. First couple of times I drove the beast on the track, had the DSC (TC in beema speak) on and found it too restricing coming out of a corner and giving it a boot full. The silly computer would think I didn't have a perfect exit line and wouldn't give me all the throttle I wanted....soon fixed that....just turned the $ucker off.

OK, so after yesterday evenings slight problem, things were back on track this morning. For me, no amount of superlatives can describe the sound and feel of the car from the passenger seat, apart from totally and absolutely stunning and amazing. It corners just so flat, is so fast and is so tractable. The ride of the car is actually quite good for something purpose built for racing. One problem today, a stall on commencing one stage led to it being completed in limp home mode. Calling the experts on how to "reset" the problem, it stalled again while trying to execute a tricky hill start in limp home mode at an intersection. On starting, it had then reset and returned to full-fat mode + extra cream, it actually seemed to have more herbs than earlier in the day. The following stages of Mt Bera, and The Corkscrew (incorporating The Gorge) were completed at a blistering pace, in a truly stellar performance by Goober and the car. The Corkscrew was a section that I really didn't think would be totally suited to the 360, however after bogging down on the earlier hairpins Goober cut the traction control and gave the horses a free rein, which loosened up the rear end nicely with no more bogging down. Sorry, no pictures, it is late, and I've got to be up earlyish tomorrow to complete a tiny proportion of earning my keep in the passenger seat!

they occasionally start up on just one bank of cylinders (RH gets the message before LH)... and it's usually because the fuel pump relay didn't trip in... they're not a normal relay, they have electronics inside and they're sometimes sensitive... Also... that problem can be provoked by not waiting for the dash messages to clear before hitting the starter button.... and further provoked by turning off the isolator/or attempting a restart before the long BEEP has finished.... nature of the (frustrating) beast... new fuel pump relays MIGHT help.. but unlikely.... Sounds like you're having fun....
