Nah the Rocket was much nicer, that 'thing' is called a sportscycle. A one legged colleague of mine owns it! :-0
Actually I really like it, the only thing I would change would be the cyclops looking headlamp in the middle, what engine does it use, I see it is a single rear wheel like the Rocket 3
Its different i'll give you that! Its a 600 in it. I believe there were three made, the others having bigger engines and being a tad more attractive IMO. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would love it, I can look at it and see exactly what I would do to change it, I would get rid of the rear subframe & seat & fuel tank for a start, a nice carbon can, slightly mod the nosecone, shall I go on
Yep those wheels are yuk, one day I would really like to get a rolling Formula Ford chassis and stick in a highly tuned Gsxr1300 lump, get it road legal on a day licence and have some damn fun on trackdays too

I've always fancied one of those, I thought about building one a few years back when my Eclat (yep I had one of those ) basically rotted away underneath, I was going to stick the engine in a Sunbeam, but most of those had rotted as well
Linwood was the Rootes Group factory in Paisley near Glasgow. It was opened in 1963 and the first model produced was thee Hillman Imp (I remember the occasion well - I was at school in Edinburgh at the time and a couple of years later we went on a school trip to teh factory). I can't remember the exact sequence of events but Rootes were taken over by Chrysler. I think they built components for the Avenger there and also the Hillman Hunter. The factory closed in the early 80s
Showing your age guys!!! Francis i never knew you were Scottish, quite a few of us on this board! Inky, Ken, you, me, SteveF etc i never knew the cars were built there, not too far from where i am now to be honest!! The lotus wasnt mine, it belongs also to the one legged colleague of mine.
Right, whatever it is, and who ever made it, they were clearly in possession of a photocopier and a picture of a Ferrari 166
