Thanks all for your good wishes. She is being air shipped to Hong Kong and I will head off to the airport to greet her. Still about 3 weeks to go. I have seen many 599's in the metal but none in Scuderia Rosso with beige. Really hoping it looks as good as I imagine it

I don't think you need to worry - sounds beautiful. You just need to find a way to make the waiting easier ....

DM18 can't wait to see the car!! It'll be the perfect addition to your collection!!

Where do you store your cars in Hong Kong?? Underground garage? Or do you have your own property?? On Kowloon or Hong Kong Island??

Saw a 599 today in Rosso Scuderia, with Rosso Scuderia caliper, CC brakes and shield. This is the same as mine and I was much relieved that it looked great "in the flesh"

Shields and Rosso Scuderia can't be doubted, Schumi looks good in one.

My car arrived about 1 week ago, PDI is finished and she is sitting in the dealer's showroom in Causeway Bay for a week or so - locked up with a big sold sign on her! I am super happy with the colour and options. I have had a few blasts in the dealer's demo car and am looking forward to getting my car out and on the road. Will post pictures when I take delivery

I believe that is a very similar combination to the car Ferrari had on display at Pebble Beach.

    It's absolutely beautiful.

I did not think I could like a red car, but seeing that 599 changed my mind!

Very nice choices and I am sure you are counting the days.

    Congratulations! Sounds like a beauty.

My parents lived in HK for 4 years (now in Singapore), and I visited them on numerous occassions. See lots of phenom cars in HK, but have always wondered where you guys open them up? Gotta be more than airport road I presume? - :)

Do you head to greater China for drives? How active is the local Ferrari chapter?

Enjoy the car in good health.

FOC very active and China is heaven for Fcars. HK is like UK - lots of radars and easy to lose your licence. We are lucky to have China. I would not buy a 599 if I could only use it in HK. 2nd gear would be pretty boring
