However this may change soon.....I am loving this, hoping Hudson will buy it me for xmas....

mate, they used to scare me when I was used to them LOL

My last racebike a 600 Yamaha R6 was faster than an R1, it used to make me eyes water, acceleration was simply breathtaking.

Funniest biking story.....on a trackday at Oulton, race bike was playing up so I took to the track with my road bike, and quickly found out road tyres aint got the grip of warm slicks and it highsided me at 100mph coming round Knickerbrook (before they had Hizzys chicane in) finally coming to rest in the brook of the same name 100 m over the armco and through a small copse of trees, the recovery bloke said he had never ever had one make the brook before and was well pizzed at getting his trainers wet :D:D:D

18 mate, but I was tearing around on a 350LC from the age of 16. How I never killed myself beggars belief really.

THAT is stunning, I remember drooling over one at a bike show some years back :):):)

Thats the original, 750 cc. 2002, #250/300 made. The newer MV Senna edition from 2005 is a F4 1000cc.

I love that grey 916 Ducati Senna posted at the top of the thread, thats just as beautiful and rare as the MV!

My dad has a '61 Norton Dominator Type 99 600cc in the garage. He never uses the damn thing even after spending a couple of grand on a full restoration over winter in 2004/05. The bike sat in my grandad's cellar for 20 years before restoration. The reason? My dad was trying to show off to the girls outside a local nightclub and forgot to stop in time for the wall behind the bouncers! :D

My grandad has owned everything from an Indian Chief to ancient Ariels and BSAs. He fettles all kinds of bikes in his cellar and it's like an Aladdins Cave down there. He has bits of BSAs, Nortons, Ariels and who knows what else hidden under dustsheets and stacked on the shelves! He recently sold 2 sets of doors for a Rover P4 and a Riley RMA gearbox that we found down there!

I haven't got round to getting a bike licence yet, but one day it will come! My missus doesn't like the idea after she watched her uncle do a Superman off a Suzuki on a wet road! One day though I will get on a bike!
