Do you have a photo of them from a little further away? My first guess would be that they might make the car look a little bulkier, but hard to say without seeing them a bit further.
They look quite well made, and I would guess they should be black and would replace the heavy windows.
One downside would be that they would dramatically reduce the visibility out, a Mondial strongpoint.

Honest answer Pete, they look awful, but they would help in your quest for weight loss.

Thanks for the opinion Russ, I have bucket seats and 6 point harnesses so I wouldn't be able to really see out of the rear quarter windows anyway, the pics are what I had emailed me, the only problem is he paid $500 for them, so I don't know what he is expecting to get for them, I was going to put poly windows with naca ducts in them to go with the poly door windows with sliders

I don't care for them at all. If they were functional or actually vented they might look better. IMHO.

Unless they actually add performance, forget about them.

Not good - too many louvres/vents.

I don't think they look that bad, and if they are there to replace the glass and direct air to the engine bay then they are probably a good idea.

They will let air into the car, they don't do anything for cooling the engine, they will have no other functionality apart from that

After speaking to Russ I was thinking of removing the side strakes to see what it will look like, so it might not look too Ott with those removed

I have now decided against it, I did ask for some other pics and got a bit of a rude reply, he wants $250 for them, thanks for all your input, I will be removing the side strakes this week to see what it will look like without them, I will post pics.

I'm not into the louveres myself. But, I kind of like the wooden steering wheel, maybe on an older car though.

Thanks Clive, I knew you would have a pic;), from that angle I prefer it with it on, so I will leave them as is now, looks like that 360 rim has taken a good clonk, can they be repaired as I have a Mondial T rim with the same on the back edge

That was just a spare the Singapore Ferrari Distributor loaned me. I wouldn't repair it except to use as a coffee table. Rims can be repaired but it depends on the damage and the rim.

It is very rare that I have seen any "home-made" mod on any car that looks good. Wheels are about the only change that may improve factory appearance, and even that is "ify"

I pretty much agree with Sam on Mondial body mods (Clive's rebod does not fall into this group being totally new) with wheels being the acceptable exterior addition (as long as do not protrude).
Now that said, there are other small things some folks do that are worth pointing out with my personal 5 star rating assessment (which carries no value):
*****tinted widows - not really a mod, and actually protects the interior and help cooling. I struggled with this but after seeing Coterjon's car, took the plunge myself with some light grey metallic tint with 100% UV rejection.
**painted sills- I know this is popular, but I like the contrasting sills better
***blacked out front grill (except for cavallino) - have seen this on a few Euro cars. Makes the front cleaner and less busy, but jury is still out.
*rear deck wings - who are you kidding?
****rear deck luggage rack - ok if removable and you actually use it.

Now, the interior is a different story...
    Any others?

I think a side picture from farther away would be better to judge the overall effect, but from what I see it looks to busy, to many vents/louvers.

I had decided against it anyway as I had put it earlier in the thread.
